	Pikatogeon16 picked The Simpsons: Neither is exactly THAT Innovative. Simpsons is a milestone in adult animation and animated sitcoms but it's not like either was new (The Flintstones/ Ralph Bakshi's films). And The Little Mermaid started a renaissance for Disney Animation but there was plenty of innovation before that (Early Miyazaki films, Fantastic Planet, etc), hell the renaissance was probably started with Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
