She just made me love the character so much, and she is so relatable. Rapunzel from Shrek was a villain, from Once Upon a Time was just in like one episode and we didn't get to know her, and Rapunzel from Into the Woods was ok, but we didn't really get to know much about her either as she wasn't the main character.

BY FAR! I don't care for the other ones. The first version of Once Upon a Time was better than the idiocy of what they did with Rapunzel 2.0 and what they did with the first version was interesting but forgettable and there's not much to her. I felt that the Shrek the Third version was a wasted opportunity. They hinted that there was depth and a hint of a possibility for redemption when she was genuinely worried Charming would hurt her friends and even looking back at her friends with regret in her face but after that she goes to being a one-dimensional villainess that is later played for a laugh for her humiliating defeat like her depth meant nothing. The Into the Woods version was okay.
