Are you just going to keep posting this question until it gets the winner you want? If people feel Belle comes across as smartest that's life. I wouldn't choose her either, but there you go.

Anyway on firework's side: i wholeheartedly agree that reading doesn't make you smart. It can make you more cultured, more well-read, more imaginative but Belle's love for reading never once helped her in making problem-solving decisions of any kind in the film.

In fact, I thought this question seemed familiar. This question was asked by ME, with those EXACT SAME WORDS. I do repeat questons too though..just not other people's. It's okay though.

I agree with fireworks, and I think Belle's slowly losing smart points. She gets less and less points each time this question is asked. This is not to say Belle isn't smart. But if Belle wins, I wouldn't mind if it was for legitimate reasons.

I've just realised what I put came across harsher than I meant it to. I wasn't trying to be insulting (though I did want to make sure you really weren't intending to just keep asking until getting the winner you wanted, because that would just be spamming up a spot) If it was just a mistake, that happens to everyone, I just like to point out that it's best to use search before posting a pick, because it doesn't occur to some people, but it saves spots getting jammed up with endless repeats.

mermaid-tail: btw, that actually was just a mistake, i didn't realise i had posted the same question again. the thing is i can't reli be bothered to see if i've already posted the same question cos there are like 50 pages of questions on this spot.

princesslullaby: yeah i noticed u asked the same question with the same words on the disney spot. sorry bout that, but its jst the results on that were pretty accurate. belle wasn't winning, she was coming about 3rd or 4th place cos u proved a good point. so in order to get the rite results i decided to do the same thing. cos if u just ask "which princess is the smartest?" belle always gets voted even tho she doesn't really deserve it. sorry for asking the same question!

fireworks123, this isn't more nagging I promise, lol. I just wanted to point out you said you don't check because there are so many pages of picks, you don't have to look through every pick to check. At the top right it says 'search club' if you put in a keyword from the pick (so in this case 'smartest') it will show you what picks containing that have been done before, and it only takes seconds. Like I said, this wasn't more nagging, I just wanted to let you know there is an easier way to check than looking through every page :)

yeah i accept people's opinions but i don't want belle to win mainly cos i have a strong sense of fairness and i don't think its right if one of the princesses win a poll wen they don't reli deserve it-don't get me wrong, i love belle, but like i've said, people only assume she's smart cos she reads.

Mermaid-Tail-thanx, i didn't know u could do that, i'll bear that in mind. i wouldn't deliberately post the same question on a spot (on another spot maybe), but not on the same one, that's just sad lol

Belle is very intelligent - her vocabulary, her decisions, her reading capabilities all prove her to be *very* smart. I don't she that she's the smartest though, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people did, and she definitely deserves to be thought of as one of the smartest princesses.

Mulan, Pocahontas, and Belle are my top three.

I'd say the bottom three are Jasmine (complete lack of common sense, but she does have intuition; I'll give her that), Ariel (ehh, she's made some bad decisions, but haven't we all?) and Aurora (I don't think she had enough time to prove herself).

I don't think any of the princesses are in any way stupid though.

Belle was definitely very intelligent -- and she shows it in her words, manner, and (subtly) in her actions.

However, I think that Mulan really showed how smart she was on numerous occasions. She was the one who got the arrow by using her mind rather than just her brawn; where everyone else allowed the medallions to weigh them down and be a hindrance, she used them to her advantage as the only way to accomplish her goal. Rather than taking out one or two soldiers with her cannon, she took out the entire army -- even killing Shan Yu wouldn't have stopped them, and she knew that. And who else would be smart enough to sneak soldiers into the palace by disguising them as women, using the typical trappings of femininity (that generally wear females down) to actually aid them and her in the battle (fan as a weapon, sash as a way to climb, etc.).

I think so.

Pocahontas and Mulan are the wisest perhaps...but Belle, Ariel, and Jasmine are quite intelligent too...
