Besides, even if she didn't want to be human she might still have fallen for Eric if she saved him (which she may have, not wanting to be human wouldn't mean she wasn't inquisitive, so fireworks and a sinking ship would still get her attention) so if she fell for him even not wanting to be human it could lead to some similar events. Ooh, maybe she'd go to Ursula and trade her voice to have her turn Eric into a merman, lol. Then it would be her convincing him to stay a merman rather than her convincing her father to let her leave. I actually think that would be a fun movie :) As for Mulan, if she wasn't clumsy and didn't join the army it would be a movie about her getting married while her country was taken over by Huns.
