Only because her "mother" brought her down so much, other times I'm sure she thought she was fairly beautiful.

She was being told regularly by the ONLY person she knew that she was chubby and unattractive. She's never even ventured into society so there's a good chance she doesn't know that her long blonde hair is often considered an extremely beautiful trait. Cinderella was being abused too, but when her father was alive she was dressed in nice clothes and he probably told her she was pretty growing up. Snow White probably had an idea that there was a reason the Queen was forcing her to wear drab clothing. I'm sure Maurice told Belle she was beautiful at least a few times throughout her life, and Belle was probably hit on by enough Gaston type men to know she was at least somewhat desirable. Jasmine has everyone waiting on her hand and foot so she is probably used to being complimented. Tiana has Charlotte and her mother to tell her she's pretty. Yup, I'm going with Punz.

I'd say out of the very pretty princesses she is the least aware of it. Everyone in town thought she was pretty but she never focused on that she focused on how she was different and didn't fit in town, but hey maybe she did know.

Cinderella was often ridiculed and rejected by her stepfamily because they never puther at the same level, they considered her like amediocre, stupid and repulsive person, it going further than just the fact of being treated ugly

But that picture of Rapunzel is HIDEOUS.
I don't consider Rapunzel ..well, how do I put this. I don't think she was considered 'beautiful' in her movie. Even though she's my #5 prettiest, I don't think she can be unaware of a beauty she doesn't really have, same for Mulan and Tiana and Ariel.

I think Snow White because she is busy working and hardly meets humans that she only talks to animals. Or Tiana because she is busy working, too. She and Snow White doesn't seem care about beauty.

About Cinderella, I agree with disneydweeb. Ariel, Jasmine, and Pocahontas probably realize they are beautiful because they are princesses. Belle might be aware of her beauty because townspeople are talking about it. I suppose Fa Zhou may say to Mulan that she's beautiful. And finally, Rapunzel is not beautiful.

Belle's the only character whose obliviousness to her own beauty is an explicit part of her character.

Anyway, it's safe to say Gaston is the only one hitting on Belle, considering how the other villagers worship him. Besides, he's the only villager who "looks past" her odd habit of reading/thinking to see her...umm...outer beauty.

And while it's true that Gaston thinks Belle is beautiful, I doubt he has ever complimented Belle on her beauty (or anything else). Gaston's pathetic attempts to woo Belle concentrate entirely upon how awesome he is.

As for Rapunzel--she's beautiful. Flynn was stunned by her beauty when he first got to see her in the light (and that's when he tried to charm her--not before.) So, how aware is Rapunzel of her beauty? Well, Mother Gothel constantly teases her, but she always says she's just kidding. Gothel's input is so self-contradictory that it's unclear how seriously Rapunzel could take any of it.

Mulan, I suppose didn't have any idea whatsoever as she seemed insecure. She didn't know who she was or what her 'destiny' was for her, unlike a few people of her time. I do believe she found out in the end, which makes her an excellent role model out of plenty reasons.

Cinderella, Snow White and Belle, all three of them strike me as girls that don't know they're that pretty. They don't pay much attention to that.
