We just don't get to see as much with her and Rapunzel as we do with the others, we know she was sad she was missing (but seriously, if they walked in on Gothel leaving, couldn't some horsemen have beaten her to the city gate? I digress,) which any mother would be, and that they sent up the lantern tribute in hope she would come home every year, and she hugged Rapunzel once.
