Seriously, Elsa? She's one of the most unique imo

Other than her isolation, I don't think Elsa is very unique. She has powers, but so did Rapunzel. She was confused and concerned about her future but so was Mulan. She can be very stoic and obedient, so could Aurora. She has a sister, so did Ariel. She lost her parents young, so did 7 other Disney Princesses before her in some form or another. She was isolated away from most of society for a large part of her life, so were 5 other Disney Princesses before her. There is just nothing that really sticks out about her that is really that unique from the others in the line up. To be honest, I'm not even quite sure what her niche is other than choosing to be isolated?

Sorry, I'm confused. Is the poll about being unique among each other or is it about being unique in totality?

I don't really get the meaning of this poll, tbh. But without her powers, Elsa doesn't offer anything new in characterization.

^I do same as wavesurf to don't really get this poll. But I guess her. I don't think that passive princess who just sleep and awaken in a whole of her movie was unique.

I haven't really found anything completely unique about Aurora. Cinderella, Belle and Elsa are as graceful and elegant. She's a reserved person with lot of dreams she wishes could come true. Slightly playful and a romantic, like most princesses. Except for her grace, nothing stands out to me as much.

Also, i think Elsa does have some uniqueness in her. Despite being so isolated, she still has a lot of composure and public etiquette, unlike any other. Plus how she manages to keep her anxiety within her for all these long years is actually not so common, a negative thing but nonetheless unique. Being a severely anxious and reserved person, she could gather herself to become a public figure was actually pretty commendable. And she's the only princess who is as emotionally driven as she is, again towards negative consequences but still unlike any other. and even after being so depressed, she still managed to have a sense of humor.

I feel like she didn't add much to the lineup.

She's the fourth of the "I want" Renaissance princesses. There was Ariel and Belle and Jasmine before her, and although they each have their own unique traits and twists, the rough of their chracter and story are the same.

Or Elsa, but her ice powers give her at least one thing that makes her unique. Aurora? She is just the typical Disney Princess, nothing else. Nothing about her stands out. Perhaps with more screen time?
