I had to watch Brave three times in a row, before I could "get over" how insufferable the main character, Merida, is. I still maintain that the true heroine of the film is Elinor. Brave is an okay movie, but not one of Disney's (nor PIXAR's) finest.

Brave is a mediocre movie. The moral message is pretty good, it's a relationship between mother and daughter. Merida is a representation to a real current teenage person. She is unstable in emotions and made mistakes but later realized and changed herself. In other side, Elinor is a strict parent but in later she realized she also wrong and too forced her daughter. This is good example as they both realized their own mistake and changed to be better person.
But sometimes the story is kinda boring and cliche, and a bit pedantic. And doesn't as entertaining much as the other DP movies do.
