audreygrace412 picked Tiana:
I think Tiana is very practical and she seems somewhat emotionally smart as she is able to pick up on when Naveen can handle her intense humor and when he cannot. As a frog, she is able to adapt very quickly even to make a swamp gumbo version to feed herself and the others with her. She also thought on her feet quickly to help her and Naveen come out alive when captured by the hunters so overall I think she has at least an average IQ if not more. I didn’t think it was very smart of her to actually think that her “kiss” would work from the fairy tale when she was clearly not a princess and that was inconsistent with the story. That thought never seemed to cross her mind which makes me question her IQ being much better than average.

Rapunzel seems pretty rational, figuring out quickly how to ‘imprison’ Eugene and then bribe him into getting what she wanted, as well as immediately realizing that the bar did not seem safe, showing she wasn’t too naïve. She didn’t seem to pick up on Eugene’s character in the beginning but she definitely picked up on when he started having feelings for her so I think her emotional intelligence is so-so. Her survival skills seem pretty good for someone locked in a small tower her whole life and she is clearly incredibly intellectually curious, using her free time to figure out an eclectic mix of hobbies and subjects. The fact that she branches out in such a diverse way, and is so successful in so many areas, shows a combination of hard work and talent so I think her IQ is at least average if not more so.

Pocahontas is definitely a very wise princess to me, it’s what stands out about her the most to me. I think she is incredibly rational and logical, especially for someone who is so spiritual. After all, she was thinking with her head when Grandmother Willow told her to listen to her heart instead. I see this as showing that Pocahontas’ head is smarter than her heart (as she relies on it more naturally) but that her heart is smart too. When Pocahontas was faced with life-changing decisions/opportunities/etc, she always looked to those who had more life experience for advice on what to do. I think this was so wise of her to do and showed her emotional smartness as well as she knew whose opinions to trust and how to weigh them against each other. Pocahontas did a lot of discernment in her film which, I think, displayed a lot of her intelligence and survival skills. Additionally, she was able to learn English from John Smith magically fast and communicate with him. She seemed incredibly interested in learning about his foreign culture which I think shows her high level of intellectual curiosity as well. I think Pocahontas definitely has an above average IQ.

Mulan is a very uniquely intelligent princess to me who has all of the markings of intelligence and easily one of the most intelligent if not the most. Her chess skills showed her rational book, emotional, IQ and improvisational smartness as well as intellectual curiosity since she wanted to challenge herself spontaneously by joining and subsequently ending the game with a checkmate. She was emotionally smart as she was able to pick up being a man so well and able to adapt quickly and understand the different form of discipline and communication at the camp. When fighting with the Huns in the snow, she showed remarkable intelligence when she thought out of the box to create the avalanche, taking out almost all of the Huns and seemingly taking them all out. Furthermore, she was also able to come up with a quick plan disguising Yao, Ling and Chien-Po as women and figuring out a way to defeat Shan Yu. I think Mulan has a very high IQ, well above average.

Silverrose1991 picked Tiana:
Tiana is practical, she steadfastly accrues money to buy and build her restaurant, she is knowledgeable on cooking and raft-building, she thinks on her feet, and I don't even hold against her that in a moment of weakness she forgot that she couldn't still be a frog if Naveen was human. But, honestly, she can be very dense! Mama Odie sang a whole song, plainly as day telling her that 'what you need is not what you want, your father was happy without the restaurant because he had family, and that's what you need" and SHE STILL DOESN'T GET IT!

wavesurf picked Tiana:
For the same reason as before. I don't excuse her desperation and greed in kissing a frog for money. I don't find her the most intelligent. Tiana is extremely narrow-minded at times, and she is primarily concerned with her own interests, and she is not willing to help others.

Anii147 picked Pocahontas:
I have to go with Pocahontas at times. They claim she is wise, but it is clear that she is not the most rational thinker, and only goes with her heart. Sometimes, you need to use your brain, and take in all options. She is a bit reckless.

@silverrose: LOL, it didn't even realise that i have accidentally selected Rapunzel until you asked. And then I'm wondering why are you asking me a silly question...I laughed so hard when i saw my obliviousness to my own stupidity!

Many people picked Tiana, but I honestly think Poca is. She listens to her heart rather than brain, and she is bit reckless and impulsive. Love her though.

Pocahontas doesn't actually listen with her heart, she's incredibly rational, that's why Grandmother Willow has to teach her how to listen with her heart (hence the song). When she first tries to figure out her situation, it's purely rational: option A has these consequences and benefits; option B has those consequences and benefits. The other thing she does is ask others who are older, wiser and have more life experience for their opinions which is wise because it's recognizing that you, alone, may not have the answers to everything.
