I don't know why, but i've always had a soft spot for Jake.

Hank always made me so mad and then he'd do something that would just make my heart skip a beat.

I always loved Loren cause he was so funny. Not to mention that when the trio (Hank, Jake, and Loren) were doing something wrong, Loren would usually change his mind by the end of the episode and he was usually the first of the three. I also love how he seems to have a special spot for Brian.

My mom and I have been re-watching the series on DVD and we were practically on the floor laughing yesterday while watching Ladies Night where Loren and Jake were dressed up as women for free drinks.

I don't count Loren as a bad guy, he was so funny..yes he could be mean but he was a softy underneath the tough guy outer apperance.
All the "bad" guys could have their "nice" moments but Hank had fewer of those "nice" moments. Although I really liked the whole cast they were all great.

I never really thought of Loren as a bad guy--just a kranky old man with a soft spot for a certain lovable mischievous little boy haha

ElliesOwner, I TOTALLY agree with you :) That's exactly how I feel. And have you noticed how well William Shockley shows expressions! Seriously, you could look at Hank's face and know exactly what he was feeling
