I think when Stephenie 'dreamed' Edward up...she took inspiration from a good quality from this guy and a good quality from that guy (probably all the good men in her life) and rolled it all into one...one perfect guy she called Edward. *sigh* to find a real guy with just half of Edwards qualities.....
