well they did excellent with Chonicles of Narnia and I heard Alice in Wonderland was good!!! I wouldn't say disney was my first choice!!!

Disney make some pretty awesome films. I think people get it too confused with the disney channel. alice in wonderland and the pirates of the caribbean films are awesome and they are from disney. plus i would rather it be disney and have a big budget than some other little company with a tiny budget.

alice wonderland was ok but it wasn't the best movie i ever saw none of the disney movies i ever saw where great they were ok just not everything i'd hope for. i'd really hate to see hannah montana in it i swear if i see any disney stars it the movie or a cartoon fallen movie i will not buy it at all. but i do think disney could make a good ride of fallen in the disney park with dan holding luce or something with his angel wings flying or something make is dark inside at first call the ride fallen angel making you feel like your falling idk i just don't think disney will make as good as we want it to be...

Disney did Pirates of the Carribean without any Disney Channel stars. They found great actors and have the budget to hire any talent they need. This concept would need their sway. And just because a few don't like their movies, doesn't mean the majority agrees. I think they would make the right choices. That, and Disney tends to out do themselves decade after decade. It would be alright if they took over.

I'm in two minds. (Look it up in Wikipedia. Disney is claiming the rights in all four books)

WHY NOT DISNEY:
I admit, some others will do better than Disney.
Maybe Paramount, 20th Century Fox, or Warner Bros. will do better. (I mean, see the Harry Potter movies, people, come on!).
And they probably will ruin since most of Disney's loyal audiences are kids, 12 below, and the story has a dark aura so they won't be able to add the steamy scenes with Luce and Daniel (which is NOT good. It MUST be in the movie!!!!!).
Plus, if it would be starred by somebody like Miley, or Debi, or Selena (she's good, that's true but too young for the PG-13 scenes I guess.) I'd rather NOT watch the movie.
I'll probably be in my room, sulking....

WHY DISNEY:
Well, they did redeem themselves with Pirates of the Caribbean, Narnia, and Alice in Wonderland (which has a darker theme compared to the children's book) because all those movies received a positive review meaning they can film a movie without making it all childish.
Plus, they have the cash to make it big, and they proved that they can make adult-themed scenes without ruining their image.
Frankly, they could balance it out, the wit, humor, action, darkness (plus the luuuurrrvvveee scenes) just as they did in other movies.

They could do it fine, but if you ask me, other film productions could do better as well.

There, I'm finished. I have only one hope, though.....

(I love Twilight, don't get me wrong, but the movie doesn't fit right in with the book. I disliked the movies, except maybe Eclipse, but I LOVED the books)

I think that they could do well but I hope they don't dumb it down like for younger kids because that will just rewin it. They have made some good older movie so if they do it like those then it could be good. I think but that 'disney stars' will just rewin it.

Someone who has a lot of psych thrillers, and scarier stuff. Not horror though; they'd make it too boring and pointless.

Honestly, they should make a movie of the Fallen series at all!! I can tell that it is going to end out to be a crapy movie just like how they did with twilight! Besides, its too dark for Disney! and Disney is for little kids, and Torment (and i think fallen) has the word BITCH in it! Dont do it Disney, you will ruin everything!!!!

oh and there's a 99% of chances that disney will make it appropriated for all ages, isn't it what disney always do? there isn't a single disney movie that can tell otherwise. my choice? check the trailer (just to make sure) and don't watch the movie at all.

This is a young adult book done little kids books.

Guys just knock it off already, will ya? How will Disney ruin it? Who says Disney is only for kids? What about Pirates of the Caribbean? Would you really say this movie is only for kids? You can't know how Disney will make it unless you see it! What if it would be just like the book? Dark, romantic, sexy? What will you say then? "I'm sorry Disney for taking it out on you so harshly like that. I underestimated you, because if I don't judge before seeing it, aliens will break in my house and slaughter me and my family!"?! :P
Just because Disney made a lot of movies for kids, princess movies and stuff, doesn't mean they're not capable for making something darker... something more for teens. I mean, it IS better than no movie at all, right? If you wouldn't like it, just ignore tr then and stick with the book.
In other words, you should thank Disney for accepting to make it a movie. Or else there would be no movie at all. Just give it a chance guys! If it'll suck, then fine, it'll suck. It's not like they'll rewrite the book or anything. So stop hating and start waiting!

disney probably won't keep the cussing, make out scenes, or violence. It will eally take away from the romace if daniel and luce peck once. I saw the casting list, and its exactly what we were afraid of Cam: Nick Jonas (doesnt look right) Daniel: Liam Hensworth (too old) Luce:Luce Hale (doesnt look right) it ruins movies for me if the characters dont look right. Daniel should be alex petyfer....

I want the guy from percy jackson to be Miles for the 2nd one lol. Or Josh Hutcherson.....
