I noticed something. Yes, I know that sounds unbelievable, it scares me too.

It seems a lot of people are wondering where the seemingly walang tiyak na layunin hatred of Smurfs on Fanpop came from.

I know, sounds strange to me too. So I decided to investigate this mystery that has led to confusion and gnashing of teeth on Fanpop.

 Creepy!
Creepy!

I did a little search, and the results were as suspected: I started it.

Yes, innocent little dazl. Didn't expect that one, did you?

See, Smurfs scare me. Always have. And no, I will not tell you why. That's a private matter between me and my shrink on Tuesdays, and my therapy group on Thursdays and Saturday afternoons.

So, I naturally thought of defending myself. Self defense. And choking came to mind. Therefore, link arose.

Then, I began to think, since Fanpoppers apparantly find the idea of killing little blue thing disgusting. And then it hit me. A viable pinagmulan of nutrition AND a method of elimination! Which led to link.

It then seemed to snowball. Everyone soon knew of my aversion to the cerulean sprites and began to tease me *suppresses memory*.

 My new plan

Then, something wonderous happened. Other Smurf haters declared themselves Gargamelian. And sa pamamagitan ng that I mean AntiSmurf.

Soon, the hatred of Smurfs had dripped over into picks. People began to imagine me fighting Smurfs, running from Smurfs...*panic attack*

So that is the shameful secret of the Anti-Smurfers.

To the AntiSmurfers: Yes, I know I owe you guys wages for keeping them away from me. I'll pay you when Chel runs out of picks.

To those who like Smurfs: Sorry?

UPDATE: I just saw someone asking about the Smurf thing in one of Chel's picks. Now that is timing!

 The start of the randomness
The start of the randomness
All I seem to be seeing recently is payo on rating, and the importance of commenting. Not that this is a bad thing, but I think its time to get back to the true spirit of Fanpop- complete and utter randomness.

The events in this story took place between the hours of 15:00 and 16:00p.m. on Tuesday, 13th of November.

Myself and my friend (lets call him Ted) were walking out from college to get a bus home. We have to walk down a long kalye to get to the bus station. Now on this street, there is a large, expensive jewellery shop. When I say expensive, think first house expensive, private yacht...

The vehicle involved in the crash (Right) 15 Year Old Samantha Callow (Left)
I decided to write this soapbox for the family of Samantha Callow.

She's a 15 taon old girl, which died early Friday morning. Around 3:00 am, this morning while driving her parents car. Her parents didn't know that she had the car.

Who knew that what seemed to be a joyride turned into a deathful situation.

I would like to deticate the sopabox artikulo to the family. And expecially her brother Tom Callow. I knew him really well and He goes to my school. When I heard the terrible news.. I noticed what he was going through today. Just this morning another thing happened.

But this time it happened...

"J, I'm so proud of all the things that you have done" is my phrase on my bista sa tagiliran currently, and this shows why, and also lets you see I'm an actual person in this strange place I like to call the real world.

There are many different kinds of users.
There are many different kinds of users.
This artikulo was last updated on 25 October 2007, and was inspired sa pamamagitan ng Temptasia's artikulo link (sic).

In addition to the categories of user that Temptasia mentioned, I think that there are multiple "levels" of fans in a given spot (these are generalities and not meant to be an analysis of any particular user). I myself fit each of these categories in different spots, and I think that that might apply to others on the site, too. When I'm in a spot, I tend to think everyone else has the same level of enthusiasm/invovlement that I do, and I don't think that's realistic. Here's my quick break-down:...
