For you fanpoppers who has been on Fanpop for quite some time, and the ones who know the rules, you know that hate clubs are strictly against the rules.

But for you idiots who ask: sumali My Hate Club, your chances of getting your club removed are 100%. Especially if it's about Rebecca Black or Justin Bieber. Look, as much as you "hate" anyone, there's no point in making a HATE club about it. It's wrong and mean.

But this one is for people who hate with passion. When you hate someone, you hate them, correct? So making a club that you "hate" them is gonna make you feel good about hating? No, it's just because you envy or dislike them. Hate is 4 letters, 1 syllable, and one strong word.

Oh, sa pamamagitan ng the way, if you wanna hate someone and make a club about it, this is fanpop. Not hatepop. Got it?

BTW, now, if any of you see a hate club, ulat it AND the user. It's just a better solution.

P.S., if you dislike, don't make a club about THAT either!!

P.S.S- We pag-ibig you haters. ♥

And we don't accept any hate or "anti" clubs because that goes against the spirit of Fanpop!

 Yes, yes it is.
Yes, yes it is.
As some of you may know, I often suffer from grammar-induced rage blackouts. These can be triggered sa pamamagitan ng anything from a misplaced apostrophe to the incorrect usage of "your" and "you're". So, I decided to do something about it.. mostly because I'm afraid the susunod dangling modifier I come across might send me spiraling into a violent rampage the likes of which have never been seen.

I understand that a lot of Fanpoppers are not native English speakers, and thus might not have as good a hold on our sometimes ridiculously complicated grammatical rules. Obviously, I can't fault them for their mistakes....

Right, I have been thinking about this. I have been thinking about certain things on Fanpop recently and as much as I pag-ibig this place there are certain things that irk me.

Hate Spots
I've seen spots that are about hating a certain thing. I thought this place was madami about sharing things we enjoy so we can give each other images, links, videos, etc not "oh I hate this and this and this". It doesn't make anything friendly.

Me Me Me Spots
I mean no offence to anyone that has these kinds of spots and has created them but Fanpop isn't MySpace or any of those other social networks. It's a different...

Okay everybody on Fanpop is a tagahanga of something, you have to be, But what is a true fan? Well, I'll tell you.
According to Webster's Dictionary, a tagahanga is
A:
Function:    noun
Etymology:    probably short for fanatic
1 : an enthusiastic devotee (as of a sport or a performing art) usually as a spectator
2 : an ardent admirer or enthusiast (as of a celebrity or a pursuit) <science-fiction fans>

This is a great definition of a tagahanga of a baseball team or a specific person, such as the Yankees or Brad Pitt. But is that really what the fans on Fanpop are? No....

I guess you're already kind of resolved about this, but I thought I'd tell you my standing on it anyway.

If I receive messages and pader posts asking for me to sumali spots or 'fan' content from Fanpoppers who I have had no prior contact with, and I'm busy, I simply ignore their pleas, with the ligtas assumption that they've sent them to dozens of people, and even if I didn't want to upset them sa pamamagitan ng being non-responsive, they wouldn't notice.
However, when I have nothing on my hands (Fanpop-wise), I tend to check out their content and see if it's any good, and if I think it contributes to the club well,...

Special thanks to link, our fanpop guinea pig. (or should I say lab rat?)

The Fanpop website has been around for quite a few years now- 3 years in fact, and whilst it is still relatively unknown compared to the likes of Myspace, Facebook and the so-called phenomenon known as Twitter, it is still for me THE website that I pay a visit to on a regular basis.

Fanpop was formerly a small relatively unknown website, whose number of members have grown, buwan sa pamamagitan ng month, taon sa pamamagitan ng year.

With features such as uploading images, submitting website iugnay to other artikulo and You Tube bidyo to Pagsulat articles, opinion pieces and posting your works of art and creating trivia questions,...

Well, I started using fanpop back in May 2007, and since then I see how the community keeps increasing in numbers which is great. I haven't been the most active user for a while now, but as I sinabi somewhere else, I've always loved the site and therefore I come back every once in a while to spend some time fanpopping.

There is something I've noticed lately, that is obviously hard to control as the amount of users grows, but I thought I would point it out. What I noticed is a serious misunderstanding of the idea behind the "props" feature.

~ Let's start with the basics, according to the Online...
