the other araw I made a pick (I think it was a repeat) about how you find out about fanpop so I decided to answer that tanong right here... because Im bored.

Well anyways, one araw I was searching for some episodes of smallville because I was downloading them from limewire and it took way to many puwang in my computer (stupid me). So I found out about this webpage, I thought it was just a webpage that posted bidyo but than I looked to the mid-left of the page and I saw something that sinabi featured pick and than in a box it said

what is your future justice league member? and it annoyed me because I thought it was spam or something like that. So one araw I decided to click on it and this page appear telling me to choose between many choices so I just chose randomly (because I was just in season 1 and didnt knew what that page was talking about) and then this thing told me that I needed to be a tagahanga to be able to choose so I got mad because I thought that I needed to pay or something so I just went back to the videos.

The bidyo of smallville passed and passed until I saw this comment I think it was from malaya, and I thought, maybe I should sumali this fanpop thing and if they try to charge me I´ll just go back to the bidyo so I joined, found out I didnt needed to pay, and went back to the videos.

Finally I finished all the seasons fanpop had back then (yes all of them) and I didn´t knew what to do so I remember about that pick and just went and gave my opinion than I didn´t knew what to do so one thing led to another and I found the chlark spot so I joined it and put many picks in there (I think) but I still didn´t knew what a spot was so the months passed and I found out other spots and than I found the picks spot and there was when I thought, I think Im addicted to this fanpop thing.

so there´s my story (with bad grammar and spelling) about how I found out about fanpop

SO WHY DONT YOU WRITE A SOAPBOX TELLING US YOUR FIRST DAYS IN FANPOP!!!

Okay, this has been brewing in me for a while and I think that now is the time to bring it all out into the open.... I speak of the burgeoning conflict that is the rating-to-comment ratio.

Lets break this down; On numerous occasions, I have added various iugnay to many different sites, and always venture back to see what people think of the link, or their reaction to it (be that positive, negative, or even criticism towards me). But over the last few months it has become increasingly obvious that people are rating the link, but leaving no comment!

The way I see it, its like breaking into your...

Then you start adding videos, larawan and iugnay to spots. You discover Picks and can't stop answering tanong in all your spots (and even some spots that you're not even a tagahanga of!). You start making picks and even Pagsulat soapbox articles. All of the sudden people are adding you as a tagahanga and you're earning medalya and getting...

So last night, August the 2nd/3rd, depending on where you were, I witnessed a phenomenon I have not seen on the internet for quite some time, I've seen glimmers of it, hints and comments, but I've not had it so blatantly thrust in my face until last night. I am, of course, talking about unity. No, not unity against a 'common enemy' or a 'troll' as many people on the internet assume is unity, but genuine "I can just click something to make someone feel a little better" kind of unity.

You see true believer, I have a faith in one thing, 'The small things count'. Whether it's just a passing 'hello',...

 Yep, they do!
Yep, they do!
As a rule, I wouldn't make a big deal about this, but it has been bothering me for a long time. I understand the importance of correct grammar, spelling, and the use of the proper punctuation, and what I am about to say has nothing to do with this. I also understand having an opinion that differs with another person, but when somebody makes a pick or writes a comment it takes time and effort to do so. What bothers me is when people leave mean comments about how either their tanong is stupid or even how stupid the person is for making a pick. The reason we sumali spots and make picks is because...

I've spent the last fortnight or so getting a little peeved with certain things on Fanpop, they're mostly the tiny things, but if I don't mentioned them, I'm going to outburst on some poor person who doesn't deserve it, so instead, I'm giving a bit of global Fanpop advice, you ready? Here we go...

Get off your soapbox!
Lately I’ve been noticing the most frustrating thing from a lot of rather popular and regular Fanpoppers. Pagsulat artikulo that don’t have any heart, they barely have content and they’ve clearly just been added to voice a passing opinion that could have been done in pick...

Now, I pag-ibig pagpaparangal as much (or more) than the susunod person and when I go to my page and see that someone has ibingiay me a pagpaparangal I am in a happy little bubble for the rest of the day. I think this is a wonderful feature so that people can be recognized for their outstanding work. However, there is a etiquette that goes along with giving props. pagpaparangal are something you should give if you feel that a person has contributed something funny, substantial, unique, outstanding, or just plain awesome in your eyes. They are essentially a reward for hard work that you have done. They are like a virtual high...
