Fanpop Article: "Yes", "No" and ...."All of the Above"?

I heart pick additions! Truly!

Just out of curiousity, how do people feel when they've created a pick, find pictures, spell- and grammar-proof the question, finally send it out to the world -- and two weeks later discover new choices that r ovrwhielminley mispeled, say "all of the above" or "none of the above", or are green numbers among all of the pretty pictures?

Well, you can read between the lines for my opinion. But I don't know whether this is a personal irritant or whether many madami besides me feel this way.

Of course, there is a time and place for everything. Crazy_chica added a "None of the above" option to my link pick and for that I am eternally thankful. But if the tanong asks for your favorite movie/food/actor, how can "all of the above" be the answer? Try to buckle down, choose one ... and then explain why options 2, 5, 7-9, and 11 are also your favorites.

I'm not meaning to impersonate a army drill seargant way shouting "Shape up or ship out!" in pick creations and additions. Just be considerate. Those who create picks spend a reasonable amount of time on them. And we obviously desire your opinions and inputs, otherwise we wouldn't allow the "is your choice missing..." option. Please just remember to proof your answer, make sure your addition applies to the question, and add a legitamite picture to illustrate your point.

And if you truly can't find a picture for your choice, just message me and I will gladly add one for you. Truly, adding pictures to a pick is my paborito part.

megloveskyle I agree with you Cressida. It really annoys me. I all together stopped allowing the option for you to add your answer. And if anyone has something they would like to add to the pick I kindly add it for them.

goalstopper good point, i don't think it has happened to my picks but i noticed others and realize you can't pick all of the above for favorite things.

tubby2002 I completly agree with this. I hate when people do this. I dont mind at all when people add choices to my picks, I do a little irritated when they dont add pics to them, or the are mispelled (or using internet slang). I am not a huge fan of the all of the above stuff, unless it fits. Awsome article!

Snerkie I agree. I love it when people contribute to things but doubles bother me and "lazy" picks with no pictures :( i don't mind people adding to picks but it'd be nice if they prettied them up...otherwise if i can i do it anyways, heh.

Lately I have noticed a swell in the amount of inappropriate comments. Comments that have sexual innuendo, are hurtful, or are just plain gross, and most of the time they have nothing to do with the topic at hand. What I fail to grasp is why people feel like they need to do this. I can't understand why they can't control themselves and write something appropriate or nothing at all. Is it a lack of sense of humor? Do they not realize that people spend a lot of time contributing to this site and a comment like that can make all their efforts feel wasted? Or do they not...

The door to Fanpop is always open

I have had technology since I was three. Playing link and link on my SNES against/with my family (parents included!) were part of my childhood. I came onto the internet when I was around eleven, still fueled sa pamamagitan ng a need for technology, rarely seen without my Gameboy and link in it. I had to, as most people, find a place on the internet to settle into. I tried many places, first setting myself up a site at link, probably back when Dave and papa were still there and hadn't even started to think of Fanpop yet.

The My magpabago feature received a major overhaul during the last few weeks. I'll provide a quick run down of how it works and what it can do for you.

Where Can I Find It?
My magpabago can be found on your user bista sa tagiliran page if once you are logged in. If you have updates, it should be the first module on the right hand side of your page.
