Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes!
Hello fellow Fanpoppers!

Just wanted to alert you to some kamakailan changes made on Fanpop as well as a few things that have been on the site for the last couple of weeks that we hadn't necessarily announced officially.

New Navigation Bar
We've changed the navigation bar across the tuktok of the site. You'll see a couple of new iugnay up there: inbox and updates. Hopefully this will allow people faster, one-click access to two of the madami popular bista sa tagiliran pages on Fanpop. You'll also notice that a global Fanpop paghahanap has been added to the tuktok navigation. This was added so that we could provide the susunod new enhancement...

Fan Club Search
As you can imagine, with all the great content that has been added to Fanpop over the years, finding things on the site was getting increasingly difficult. The new paghahanap feature rolled out a few weeks back has addressed this problem sitewide, but tagahanga Club paghahanap now allows fans to look just within a single tagahanga club. Very useful for those tagahanga Clubs with oodles of videos, picks and the like. tagahanga Club paghahanap can be found *below* the tagahanga Club banner in each Club on the site.

Also, if you run a tagahanga Club paghahanap and don't get the results you want, you can still easily jump over to results for all of Fanpop sa pamamagitan ng clicking the "search fanpop" button in the tagahanga Club results page (see image below).

Other Cool Stuff
In addition to the global search, we've also made some changes to the frontpage of Fanpop. The Pop Culture feature allows us to highlight cool new content and items of interest to the Fanpop audience (and if you have suggestions or tips for something to include, you can always contact us via the contact link or directly with a pm). The Fanpop magpabago features gives you a glimpse of activity that's happening on the site right now so you can stay on tuktok of the latest and greatest.

Those Fanpop sleuths out there who notice even the teensiest little changes will also note that the site footer has also been updated. You'll see some of Fanpop's official profiles on some other popular websites. Feel free to become our mga kaibigan on those sites as well and help spread the word of Fanpop to other folks.

That's it for now! Hope you all have a fantastic week.

Amazondebs had the marvelous idea of making Fanpop mad-libs...see the link. This artikulo was last edited on 21 October 2008 to try to explain how the game works a little better...

What is a Mad-lib?
Specifically, Mad Libs is a registered trademark of the ibong dagat Group (USA). Generally, a mad lib is a kind of word game where the player is presented with a questionnaire, prompting for several seemingly walang tiyak na layunin types of words. The player fills in the words, then goes to another location to plug the words into the corresponding places in a block of text, which results in a silly, funny, naughty or...

You know you spend too much time on Fanpop when......

1. Your hands are permanently bent into the shape of your computer mouse.

3. You spend madami time with your online mga kaibigan than your real friends.

4. You start thinking up potential usernames for everyone you meet.

Livejournal can be quite confusing for people who don't use it, so here's a short guide including the most important things you have to think of when crediting icons from livejournal.

Why do I even have to credit?
You won't go to jail if you don't, but...
1.)People spend quite some time making icons and crediting them is a sign of respect
Think about how you would feel if you made some icons and suddenly you'd find them on some other site without your name mentioned anywhere.
2.)So you repost some pretty icons from livejournal, another fanpopper sees them and wants to see madami icons from the person...

Now, I pag-ibig pagpaparangal as much (or more) than the susunod person and when I go to my page and see that someone has ibingiay me a pagpaparangal I am in a happy little bubble for the rest of the day. I think this is a wonderful feature so that people can be recognized for their outstanding work. However, there is a etiquette that goes along with giving props. pagpaparangal are something you should give if you feel that a person has contributed something funny, substantial, unique, outstanding, or just plain awesome in your eyes. They are essentially a reward for hard work that you have done. They are like a virtual high...
