When I first clicked onto Fanpop, I felt like something was a little different. It wasn't like MySpace or YouTube (not that I have anything against the people who use them), where I normally get the feeling that people I don't know are looking at my profile. I felt like I could message the users on here and not get a rude or creepy message back. I could comment, rate, and make picks without anyone (besides the occasional bad-mannered user) commenting on my own opinions. I could add things and feel really great when someone else gave me pagpaparangal or nagkomento on how thankful they were for that item. And, I am so glad that fanpop has stayed this way! I feel so comfortable on here and only know 4 other fanpoppers in real life. I just wanted to compliment all of the wonderful users on how great they are on making this an awesome site to be on! You are all part of the reason I am now very addicted to Fanpop!

jedigal1990 great article totally agree though i'm on the other sites myspace and facebook i rarely go on i'm here all the time i'm totally addicted i love it here it seems like everyone is way more friendly then other sites not to mention you can chat we people who have the same interests this is definitly the best site on the web :)

This topic may already exist as a soapbox but I have to say that things on certain spots seem to being rated one bituin CONSTANTLY. People have complained in forums on madami than one occasion, no tagahanga would rate something one bituin if they liked the subject the spot was dedicated to, has anyone else noticed this on any spots?

It happens on the One puno burol spot, and others related to it, I'm sure that someone else is really annoyed about this!! It is really childish! Sometimes it is pages of content all rated one bituin and somehow I feel convincedthat it is NOT a coincidence!!!

Can you please comment!

The Non-Commitment of Comment Fiasco

Okay, this has been brewing in me for a while and I think that now is the time to bring it all out into the open.... I speak of the burgeoning conflict that is the rating-to-comment ratio.

Lets break this down; On numerous occasions, I have added various iugnay to many different sites, and always venture back to see what people think of the link, or their reaction to it (be that positive, negative, or even criticism towards me). But over the last few months it has become increasingly obvious that people are rating the link, but leaving no comment!

On some clubs this is not a problem. However in madami active spots people tend to check mark the box so people will view their pick more. It is VERY stupid there is three types of picks spoiler, not spoiler, and ones that need to be marked spoiler. I shall now give some examples of each.
