After pagbaba want2watchheroe's artikulo on the changes and his defending them, I decided to say my ideas on them and how some of them make the site madami accesible while others make the site a bit too much like your average wannabe MySpace. *AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHH* No! Don't hurt me for calling it a wannabe Myspace- it ISN'T. It's one of the most distinguished websites ever made- but some of these additions aren't helping that.

1- The toolbar at the top. Some people say it makes the site a little generic. I say it just makes things faster to do sa pamamagitan ng giving the iugnay to multiple commonly used features on the site without having you ilipat back to your bista sa tagiliran every five minutes. So bravo F4.

2- Comment add-ons. I don't have the same opinion for comments however. I was dissapointed in the addition of emotes...it's just too...generic-y. I've never been a big tagahanga of most emotes though so just say F*ck you in your comment below with a devil emote coupled with it if you disagree.

I'll be sure to add madami to this artikulo as the Fanpop Four adds madami (hopefully madami Fanpop-esque) additions.
Okay, for the past two months I have steadily grown addicted to this website. Maybe it's all the free time I have these days, or maybe it's just I have an addictive personaily. It could of course be that this website is pure brilliance and I constantly think about it. Does that make me sad? No way! Because I can bet I'm not the only one. So here's a checklist of how to know when you've crossed the line between fanpop-addict, and totally-crazy. :)

1. You form an opinion on something and think "I'm going to immediately make a pick about this"...and then the rest of your plan for the araw goes out...

 I can't believe it's been a whole year!
I can't believe it's been a whole year!
Today marks our 1-year anniversary of launching the Fanpop public beta! That's right folks, it was one taon nakaraan today that we pressed the button and unveiled Fanpop to the world wide web. And since then, we've had millions and millions of people come to the site. It's been great because we've gotten to know so many of you through the community. Whether it be in a fun pagtitip. game like A-Z in bayani or a heat Picks pagtatalo about vanilla vs. chocolate, we've really bonded with our users over the past year.

The site has grown and changed so much in the past year. When we launched our spots we just...

I hate those darned internet predators, don't you?
I just logged onto Fanpop about a half oras nakaraan and discovered something extremely profane and inappropriate on the YouTube spot. Due to it's heavily pornographic material, the video was deleted shortly thanks to several reports from some handy fellow Fanpoppers.

It was naisumite sa pamamagitan ng a user of the name bon8699. I reported this user 3 times and I expect him to be banned for a long, long time.

The reason I am so annoyed that this was naisumite is that this is not some pornography site. And this is most certaintly not NewGrounds, where you can ibigay larawan like this as much as you please without...

I swear to whatever higher power you believe in that I am going to injure someone with all the shoddy spelling going around. Yes abbreviations are easier (in a sense) but it looks like a 5 taon old wrote it and a lot of people don't understand it. So lets first go over some abbreviations that we should cut out of our vocabulary here at Fanpop when you post content...

u = you
r = are
srs = serious
2 = to or too (using it as "two" is fine)
plz = please

If you actually take that .5 of a segundo to type the whole word people will look at your content, comment and such a lot madami and with nicer comments...

I am not here to lecture you yet again on litrato crediting. I am done with that.

I am way past the lecturing and into downright grrrrrr-ville.

You already know full well that taking something you did not create and not giving full credit to the owner is theft. Your excuses mostly boil down to laziness at this point.

So.

This is my public notice that any and all larawan with no credit to the original owner of the image will be rated harshly no matter how great the picture is... or how much I normally like you.

Additionally, if there is a blatant Copyright notice right there on the damn picture and you still failed to credit the owner, I'm reporting it to Fanpop -and- notifying the owner of the image that you estola it.

Enough is enough.

Right, well the pamagat is a bit sarcastic. The whole "trolling" thing is sorta annoying me that having a low rate on something HAS to mean you were trolled...well maybe there's a different reason. I'll break it up to why that might not have been a trolling...

Soapboxes
- Did you use proper grammar? Check your spelling
- What's a paragraph? Learn how to use paragraphs properly to make your soapbox formatted and not look like a 1 bituin article
- They may not agree or think your opinion is totally outrageous...not a trolling

Images
- Would you like that quality of a picture? Try and avoid small and bad...

Yes, I am fired up again over another issue of cruelty here on Fanpop... specifically the practice of passing judgment on other users.
    Let's face it, we do not know each other personally, and for the most part none of us have ever met in real life. I think it is cruel and sad that people find it necessary to try to judge the intentions or actions of others. How could anyone possibly judge another person or their actions without knowing them personally or knowing the things they are going through. You could not possibly say what you would do in their situation without...

Okay, I don't know if it's just coincidence but I noticed this week that some picks just are, I don't quite know how to describe it, bad.

It just seems that a lot of picks are asked so that they are asked, a lot of them don't have pictures. (that's not very important but I can't help noticing)
But the worst thing is that there are so many typos in the questions. Look, my English is not very good, I make a lot of mistakes but al least I try to make as less as possible. I mean, a lot of tanong are just so wrong, the 'preview' thing that you get when you've finished making your pick is there...

A few minutos nakaraan I thought of a partial answer to the kamakailan outbreak of internet trolls we've had over the last few moths.

Ladies and Gentlepoppers, I introduce to you:

The ATSOF (The Anti Troll Squad Of Fanpop)
This will be a society of fanpoppers who work together to justly rate any content which has (without reason) been rated low.

My plan is to make an ATSOF Spot; if a spot or particular piece of content has been rated low you can alert the ATSOF spot about this and some of the "fans" of the spot will head over to the content and rate the content fairly, therefore boosting the rating.

Please tell me what you think; I don't want to create a Ghost-Spot-to-be

If we make a new spot we want to make it popular. Recently I made a new spot so when I wanted to send a message to all my mga kaibigan about it I got tired of typing individual messages so I quit. So we should be able to send one message to all our mga kaibigan at the same time if necessary. Also there should be an area that says "new spots" on the tahanan page so that people can see what has been recently created and if they want to sumali the particular spot. It would really make the people who created the spots happy because they could get some good publicity.

sa pamamagitan ng the way I made a new spot about Kal Penn, the indian guy from the van wilder movies, Harold and Kumar go to white castle, and Epic Movie.

So if u like those pelikula check it out. all you have to do is type "Kal Penn" in the paghahanap engine" (obviously, I know)

Also this soapbox was ment for the fanpop spot

Writers Note: This has some strong opinions. I wrote it for my blog. Therefore, it was meant to state my opinions loud and clear with no respect for others. Sorry about that guys, but if you're sensitive, proceed with caution. I'm also very liberal.

Well, we've been in Iraq for five years as of Wednesday. And now we might be getting into the same thing in Iran. Nothing is certain, that's just my opinion. You think they'd actually learn after the first time. You know, maybe if we've been stuck in this damn place forever where it's kinda hard to withdraw, that we shouldn't do it again. But apparently...

This part of my link details how you can format text in your postings on Fanpop, and the artikulo was last edited (to fix typographical errors) on 17 July 2013.

TEXT FORMATTING
Those of you who have written soapbox artikulo before may have seen the guide that Fanpop provides for formatting text. But maybe you've never written a soapbox artikulo or never noticed the key, and have been wondering how some users manage to make their text madami interesting. With these tags, you can:
* boldface your text
* put your text in italics
* underline your text
* have your text point to a different url link

It's so frustrating. You create a spot, or find a spot you like and add all sorts of content, yet nobody rates it. Days go sa pamamagitan ng . . . weeks . . . nothing. Now, you have lots of fans, but do they know your spots or the content you've added? Are you familiar with your fans contributions?

Here's an idea. Look at your fans. Go their profiles and look at their activity. Check out what content they've added. You don't have to sumali the spot if you're not a true tagahanga of the subject, but that shouldn't stop you from rating the content. Try to answer some of their iksamen questions. Look over their links, videos, and/or images. Rate what you see. Make it a monthly event. Choose one araw each buwan and on that araw choose one of your fans and rate his or her activity.

sa pamamagitan ng exploring your fans' activities you'll help them as well as find out madami about them. Who knows, you may learn something new and perhaps find something new of which you can be a fan.

I know you folks are tired of hearing about crediting images. I'm not here to beat that into your head yet again. I've already done that... and I continue to do it in comments on your larawan when you forget.

No. This time I am here to give you a helpful tip. A lot of you have paid attention and are now putting a credit on your images. Thank you for that! The problem now is a lack of film knowledge, which is very forgivable.

You see, when it comes to movies, forget what I sinabi earlier about crediting the website you got the image from if you can't find the actual owner of the image. With movies,...

It has come to my attention that my gift for words has been failing me miserably these past few days. What I mean to impart is coming off as bitchiness rather than humerous or helpful.

For that, I want to apologize. Especially to Harold, who works hard for this site and didn't deserve to feel like he was under attack at all. I'm an idiot. I would offer to smooch and make up, but I'm too old to be getting beat up sa pamamagitan ng anyone's wife...

Now, having sinabi that, I am going to go over a few things that might be responsible for this mood lately. I simply feel like I am banging my head against the wall...

When I first clicked onto Fanpop, I felt like something was a little different. It wasn't like MySpace or YouTube (not that I have anything against the people who use them), where I normally get the feeling that people I don't know are looking at my profile. I felt like I could message the users on here and not get a rude or creepy message back. I could comment, rate, and make picks without anyone (besides the occasional bad-mannered user) commenting on my own opinions. I could add things and feel really great when someone else gave me pagpaparangal or nagkomento on how thankful they were for that item. And, I am so glad that fanpop has stayed this way! I feel so comfortable on here and only know 4 other fanpoppers in real life. I just wanted to compliment all of the wonderful users on how great they are on making this an awesome site to be on! You are all part of the reason I am now very addicted to Fanpop!
