Where do I ask my question?

This artikulo attempts to distinguish what sorts of tanong should be posted with the different "question" features on Fanpop, and was last edited on 31 March 2009.

Now that Fanpop has added another "Ooh! Ooh! I get to ask a question!" feature, the tanong "What is the difference between all these features?" is even madami appropriate than ever before. One can ask a tanong in a Forum, in a Quiz, in a Pick, or in an Answer (Request). Which one should be used for a ibingiay question?

This topic may already exist as a soapbox but I have to say that things on certain spots seem to being rated one bituin CONSTANTLY. People have complained in forums on madami than one occasion, no tagahanga would rate something one bituin if they liked the subject the spot was dedicated to, has anyone else noticed this on any spots?

It happens on the One puno burol spot, and others related to it, I'm sure that someone else is really annoyed about this!! It is really childish! Sometimes it is pages of content all rated one bituin and somehow I feel convincedthat it is NOT a coincidence!!!

Can you please comment!

Okay, this has been brewing in me for a while and I think that now is the time to bring it all out into the open.... I speak of the burgeoning conflict that is the rating-to-comment ratio.

Lets break this down; On numerous occasions, I have added various iugnay to many different sites, and always venture back to see what people think of the link, or their reaction to it (be that positive, negative, or even criticism towards me). But over the last few months it has become increasingly obvious that people are rating the link, but leaving no comment!

On some clubs this is not a problem. However in madami active spots people tend to check mark the box so people will view their pick more. It is VERY stupid there is three types of picks spoiler, not spoiler, and ones that need to be marked spoiler. I shall now give some examples of each.

So you've stumbled upon Fanpop because you were Googling or clicked on a link somewhere. The susunod thing you know you start joining a few spots that you're a tagahanga of...then madami spots...and even madami spots. For spots you can't find, you might even start creating new spots. Then you start adding videos, larawan and iugnay to spots. You discover Picks and can't stop answering tanong in all your spots (and even some spots that you're not even a tagahanga of!). You start making picks and even Pagsulat soapbox articles. All of the sudden people are adding you as a tagahanga and you're earning medalya and getting...

I'm not leaving, munchkins..I know you are slightly disappointed now and were waiting for some eDrama (or happy to see me FINALLY desert the pop to live on my farm full time and stop clogging your "answers") but it's just boring old me sharing my thoughts on reporting. Forgive me..it's Sunday..and I had the time.
I sometimes stumble across obvious spam (yes, I'm talking aboot you chinese shoe and handbag sellers!) on this site that has been there for months and I wonder why it was never removed. I also see quizzes where people have been informed of a mistake and yet months later the wrong quiz...

Yep, they do!

As a rule, I wouldn't make a big deal about this, but it has been bothering me for a long time. I understand the importance of correct grammar, spelling, and the use of the proper punctuation, and what I am about to say has nothing to do with this. I also understand having an opinion that differs with another person, but when somebody makes a pick or writes a comment it takes time and effort to do so. What bothers me is when people leave mean comments about how either their tanong is stupid or even how stupid the person is for making a pick. The reason we sumali spots and make picks is because...

STOP STEALING!

This was originally posted in the One puno burol spot but a user asked that it be posted here as well. I post a lot of things to Fanpop, especially images. Something that in my opinion is very important, is giving credit where it is due. If you find something on the web and want to share it, then feel free to post it. However, it is extremely disrespectful to claim that you created that content if you didn`t or simply not bother to credit.

Lately I`ve been coming across a lot of larawan of say a celebrity where the user who uploaded the picture, gives themselves credit. It is certainly possible...

Since I've been pagbaba so many artikulo about the levels of Fanpop users, and because this buwan is my one taon anniversary of being on Fanpop, I've decided to set a listahan of goals in the upcoming taon of Fanpop. You know, like New Years Resolutions, only a buwan earlier.

Well, I guess I should tell my story. I first came to Fanpop sa pamamagitan ng a chance encounter. Back when I was on my Canada craze, I googled everything that had to do with the telebisyon shows 6teen and Total Drama Island. I have been waiting all araw to find out the results of the Fanpoppies. I was refreshing every 10 minutos just to see if the results had been posted. After awhile I decided to go out to lunch with some mga kaibigan (sushi yum). Little did I know that at tahanan a great horror awaited me. Fanpop was dead!
