Feminist Review of Snow White

TBUGoth While Snow White is't on of my favorite Disney movies, it is SOMEONE"S, thus I will defend it. Why? Because the person mentioned "Song of the South" at the end of the review. So, first of all: 1. Walt Disney has the right to freedom of expression 2. The characters in media have as much choice as to what gender and race they were born as as we did, and once they exist the characters make THEIR OWN choices. 3. First Wave Feminism is STILL feminism. On too "Snow White" 1. The Prince's ONLY purpose is to save Snow White 2. Snow White cleans the Dwarf's house because SHE IS planning to LIVE there. 3. Snow White asks the Dwarfs for help because her life is in mortal danger, the same reason we would call 911. 4. The Queen makes the apple HERSELF using CHEMISTRY EQUIPMENT. Therefore SHE IS SMART, because she is older than Swow White. She appeared a as an OLD WOMAN, because SHE WANTS to appear WEAK to Snow White. 5. We still treat 14-year-olds like children today, thanks to STATUTORY rape.
