i REALLY want to play final fantasy... but i need to know WHICH ONE IS THE BEST?

In my opinion, Final pantasiya VII is the best one. The story is great (and sad at times!) The fight system is good too and easy to learn!

Final pantasiya X and Final pantasiya X-2

VII and VIII are the best. Old, but the best. If you want to play a really cinematic Final pantasiya game then you should try XIII. If you're not a tagahanga of the turn based battle system then I suggest Dissidia. Dissidia is madami action based like Kingdom Hearts.

I say IV, VIII, X, and XIII.

I would start with FFVII, who in my opinion is the best. And then play the rest in chronological order. They are all greate:-)

I've never really played and FF game but if were me I'd pag-ibig to play dissidia :D

Honestly, your best bet is to start out with the very first one. I know it would seem stupid to some, but when I was first introduced to the Final pantasiya world, it was best for me to start out at the beginning. : ]

However, FFVII-VII, FFX-X2, and FFXIII were in all and all, the best. Though, I pag-ibig Dissiddia as well. Hope this all helps!

never finished 7 (my disk scratched) so I can't sumali in that argument... but my other faves:
It's a tie between FFX and FFVII Crisis Core.
Also adored VIII... my last disk was blank, and I waited 3 months for a replacement... I almost died waiting so long.But it was worth it!<3

I liked FFiX the best! But, I also agree with tagahanga "Cami00": start with FFVII & play them chronologically from there. I loved the games FFVII through to FFX-2. Just 1 small niggle about FFX though: it wasn't the ATB (Active Time Battle) battle system of FFVII, FFVIII & FFIX. So, that took the tension out of the battles as I liked the challenge of having to think & react quickly in battle. FFX-2 went back to the ATB system, to my relief. Although I played FFXII, I hated it! I'm a self-confessed obsessive player & I LIVE the games, not just play them. So, for me, I have to connect with the characters sa pamamagitan ng giving them names. That is what makes them MY CHARACTERS & I care about what happens to them! You can name at least 1 character In FFVII - FFX but, in FFXII you can't name any of the characters at all! So, I couldn't connect with them & didn't care what happened to them! Although the same is true of FFX-2, sa pamamagitan ng then I had already connected with 2 out of the 3 characters & was just about enough to make me care. Since FFXII I've stopped playing & gone onto Dragon Quest instead. I might play FFXIII if I can name at least 1 character!
