I'm 22 years old, and I have been a mga kaibigan tagahanga since I can remember. I grew up with FRIENDS. While other kids were watching,idk,whatever cartoon was big back in the 90's, I can remember staying up late just to watch Friends. I was born in the States but lived in Ecuador for a while, and I remember watching the series in spanish =)... When we moved to the US, I was 8, one of the places I wanted to go to was Central Perk haha, not to Disney or Six Flags, but to Central Perk, of course my parents laughed. Well, I lived with Friends, I feel Friends, and its been 6 years since the last episode and I still cant get over the fact that they are not together any more. You see, mga kaibigan was not just a TV show, they were with me in the worst times: break ups, when my parents almost divorced, during my times of depression and the only thing that could make me feel better was to watch Friends. I still cry when I see the last episode, and I try not to watch it too often, well, since I watch at least 3 episodes of mga kaibigan EVERYDAY, with no exception, even when I'm out clubbing and get tahanan at 3 or 4 am I turn on the TV and put my Friend's DVD to watch at least one episode. I experience feelings that idk how to describe when I see or hear something bout Courtney, Matthew, Lisa, Jennifer, David or Mat le Blanc. Like I saw Mat a few days nakaraan on E! confessing that when a paparazzi saw him walking out of a restaurant he yelled "Hey Joey, How you dooooin!" and Mat just yelled uy don't call me that, I'm passed that phase, I just felt like crying, he'll always be the Italian actor who cheered me up every time I was feeling blue.
During the last few months I have had this need, this urge to let this out, because I want them to know how I feel, how much they mean to me and what they represent in my life. I am not crazy... I just pag-ibig mga kaibigan and I my dream is to meet them, specially Lisa and not even as a crazy tagahanga that wants her autograph, I just want to give her a hug and thank her for (without knowing) being there when I need a FRIEND.
