I wanted Bran to make Aerys mad dammit! XD

I didn't want neither Jon or Dany on the throne. I wanted Cersei to die. I don't mind Arya and Gendry not ending up together. I was never a big fan of Jaime/Brienne.

I did think the Night King would've had a bigger role though.

I wanted Bran to have made Aerys mad too! Either that, or Bran being the Night King.

And I was sort of hoping that the theory that Ayra had really died in Braavos (even though I like Arya, but I like cool twists even more) and the ''Arya'' in this season was really the Waif wearing her face was true.

I wanted Cersei to have a more fitting death, but when she died in such a lazy manner, I was hoping that she actually survived.

And, yeah, I did want Jon on the Iron Throne since R+L= J was confirmed, because he was the rightful heir and he would have been a good king. Knowing what we now know, there really was no point to the character of Jon Snow, other than as a plot device to unhinge Daenerys so as that she would become paranoid, bloodyminded and tyrannical and go full Mad Queen on Kings Landing? Once he had killed her, he'd served his purpose as far as the writers were concerned.

What annoyed me, was that they built this character up over all seven seasons, had him survive near impossible odds, then be resurrected from the dead, only to discard him for what I think was a shot at ''I didn't see that one coming'' factor by electing Bran king and banishing him to the Wall. They shouldn't have bothered with R+L =J if that's how they planned on ending it. It would be better if he did turn out to be Ned's bastard, and maybe have someone unexpected revealed as his mother, if they wanted to make the character more interesting. that is.

And I was hoping for more Night King too.

It left me upset.
But his ending has grown on me.

^I had heard about the Arya/Waif theory. And thought it was a cool theory too, but I ditched it as soon as she killed the Freys, because I don't see why the Waif would carry on Arya's revenge. After that, it just wouldn't have made sense.

& the Theories bc the prophecies barely were a factor and I'm sure Martin has other plans for that

i wish that daenerys targaryen and jon snow lived together all alone by themselves and grew up a family.....or ruled together before she got mad....FUCK YOU GAME OF THRONES hahahaha like seriously fuck you, i seriously have nostalgia i am starting to miss daenerys targaryen because she grew on me ever since season 1, and jon snow later on but i feel so empty right now like uuugh fuck you, i feel what jon snow felt at 8x06 this is just so empty its depressing for fans who liked daenerys and jon snow together or both characters, its darkness for me and emptyness (Sadness) ugh anyway i am done before i break my keyboard tbh, the more i type here and the more i invest time in it the more angry i get and sad i get, *Sighs* FUUUUUUUUUCK damn it.

@zeppie Same.Someone pointed out that he's basically King Beyond the Wall now. The Starks basically got what they wanted from when we first met them: Jon finally got a place he belonged, Sansa earned a royal title (but through her own merit rather than marriage, as she originally envisioned) and Arya got adventure. I really really liked the final montage of them making their new lives - it was masterfully put together.

^agreed. They all ended up in a place best suited to their character which I appreciated.

This! Second choice would be Cersei surviving, the rest I would hate, I am not fund of happy endings that goes exactly how fans wants it to, cause for the most part that's just bad storytelling and just fan-service

An ending no one would expect or a very dark one where most of the characters died is what I would prefer, but I guess we got a mixture of that.

Some of the fan theories were more interesting than the actual show xD

NK death felt very anticlimactic

Even though it would have been quite cliché, I know... But I'm also okay with the ending we got for Jon.

What I was most disappointed didn't happen, though, was Jaime killing Cersei... I guess it would have been weird to have TWO men kill their lovers in the end.
