The high-five is one of the most common male rituals in the world. Nothing's madami macho than giving a buddy a high five after a manly conquest right? Well, it'll surprise many to learn that the man who is credited with giving the very first high five on record was gay!

Glenn Burke was a segundo season player for the Dodgers. One time late in the 1977 season, he was on plate in the batting order following Dusty Baker, who had just hit his 30th tahanan run and was coming around to tahanan plate. When Baker was passing past him, Burke lifted his hand, Baker did the same and their hands slapped. This...

I myself am straight, well... asexual, but one thing that I find to be VERY annoying and something I think is getting really old is when people use the word "gay" as an insult.

Example from me and a fellow classmate:
Classmate: "Uhg, this assignment is so gay!"
Me: "That makes no sense."
Classmate: "Huh?"
Me: "Well it's a piece of paper, an inanimate object it can't have emotions. Are you trying to call it happy?"
Classmate: "No..."
Me: "Well it doesn't have a sexuality either, are you trying to call it homosexual?"
Classmate: "No, I'm calling it gay!"
Me: "That makes no sense!"
Classmate: "I'm calling...

okay so i'm straight but i have found that i actually like hanging around gay people because they tend to be (not meaning to stereotype) NICER people. i support gay marriage because i believe that it is a human right; i have no fucking idea why the hell it is currently being debated (in the US). this entire damn country was created mostly because people wanted to escape religious prosecution and be able to believe what they want. this is really FUCKING HYPOCRITICAL. our government, the damn constitution and bill of fucking rights specifically states that the government is SECULAR. that means...

I've been a Christian my entire life. OH SHIT! Stop the presses, a Christian actually believes that homosexuals(and the others too, but I honestly don't feel like typing all of them out) deserve rights!? Holy mother fucking GOD OF ALL SAINTS IN HEAVEN!

Something I found while looking around the profiles on Fanfiction.net. Felt the need to post it here because I found it insanely EPIC!

I am the boy who never finished high school because I got called a fag everyday.
I am the girl who was kicked out of her tahanan because I confided in my mother I was a lesbian.
I am the prostitute working the streets because no one will hire a transsexual woman.
I am the sister who held her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled night.
We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.
I am the man who died alone in a hospital because they...

Ok so as you know we have gay parades from time to time we aren't trying to flaunt that we are gay, no we are trying to make equality happen. I'm mean we are "supposedly" all equal right? Then how come some people cannot marry the person they love, eh? I tell you why because people cannot accept change. Anyway back to parades we do it to try and ipakita that we want our rights I mean since when can the government tell me who I can and can't marry it's my life not theirs. Gay parades are really the only thing we can use to get our message across to people. We live in an unfair country but we can always change cange that with one person at a time, one acceptance, and parade. We can all help make that change anyone can really we just do it through parades
1. Marriage is a union of love, not a union of genders.

2. Homosexuality is a human characteristic, not a crime.

3. 'Marriage is a human right, not a heterosexual priviledge.'

4. Homosexuals(nor anyone else) are not able to control their feelings or affect to who they fall in pag-ibig with, so they shouldn't be punished for that.

5. Many people are against Christian values and God, but it isn't illegal to believe in God. As well, many people are against gay rights, so it shouldn't be illegal for gays to get married.

6. If God doesn't exist, gays have been treated unequally for no reason.

7. pag-ibig is an...

I think that gay marriage should be legalliesed in all countries. If a man and a man or a girl and a girl got married, would it be hurting you? Really, think about it. If it was legalised, millions of gay or lesbian people would get married. And guess what... you wouldnt even know about it. What would it matter to you if gay or lesbian people got married.

I bet when you were little you always dreamed about getting married to that special someone. I know, when I was five I always used to wear my favourite white dress, cut up toilet paper into strings and wear it as a viel. I awlays wanted to...

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal....

Please note, I am straight, these are just in first person.

I'm gay, so I must have STDs.
I'm transsexual, so I must be a hooker/whore
I'm bi, so I must want to screw everyone I see.
I'm lesbian, so I must have a sex tape.
I'm gay, so I must be a prissy guy that acts like a girl.
I'm lesbian, so I must make out with a hot girlfriend on a webcam.

I'll edit these as I think of madami common stereotypes for homosexuals/transexuals. I completely believe that each and every one of these is sickening. God, someone needs to do something about the homophobia that seems to be spreading all over the country. And people call homosexuality a disease! Yeah right, take a look at yourselves, all you homophones out there. If a homophobe is pagbaba this, please note that I don't mean to be offensive, I just believe that that way of thinking is wrong.
Thankiez! :3
There once lived a princess named Eleanor. She was a very beautiful and intelligent young girl. Yet, she was unhappy.
Everybody kept telling her, that she had everything she could’ve ever needed or wanted: the beauty, the brains, the fortune and a young, mighty prince to whom she was supposed to get married to. And they were right. In theory, the young princess’ life seemed perfect. But in reality, it was far from it.
The princess felt alone and scared, even when she was surrounded sa pamamagitan ng people and was completely safe. And her prince. He didn’t make her happy. But not because he didn’t...

Am I Gay? I guess this is a tanong a lot of young men will have asked themselves during their confusing adolescent years; it's certainly one that every gay man will at some time have had to tackle, and come to terms with on discovering the true answer. Of course, there are the lucky ones - the majority - those people for whom their sexuality has never been in any doubt. They are the very people who, sa pamamagitan ng their heterosexual appetite and acknowledged prowess with the opposite sex, may have initiated that desperate tanong in other minds. But to not be one of that majority, to not have the same...

You know, many times a day,I hear about how an adolescent or a teenager kill themselves. You know what it was from? being bullied. You know, some people get accused of being gay from the clothes they wear, the way they talk, walk,or even react to things. It disgusts me that modern-day american people are a bunch of HOMOPHOBES!!! I kid you not,it actually makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.

I have bisexual friends. No one at my school bullies them. Because at my school, everyone knows how it feels to be bullied. I don't care that my mga kaibigan are bisexual. I pag-ibig them even madami knowing that they...

The world is not divided into sheeps and goats. Not all things are black nor all things white. It is a fundamental of taxonomy that nature rarely deals with discrete categories. Only the human mind invents categories and tries to force facts into separated pigeon-holes. The living world is a continuum in each and every one of its aspects. The sooner we learn this concerning sexual behavior the sooner we shall reach a sound understanding of the realities of sex.

I believe everyone makes their own decision in life, and everything. I don't support gays, but I don't go around being rude. and saying things like you are not normal, and you will burn in Hell.
I know in the Bible that it says that man should not lay with man and that women should not lay with women, but Christians and anybody should not treat human beings like this. Everyone is weird in our own special way, so why should Gays get picked on and everything just cause they don't do what others do. I am straight and a Christian, but I don't treat people that aren't like me horrible just because they don't act like me.
I mean seriously, what good is it gonna do if people continue to treat others without respect due to sexual oriention, color or anything.
We should pag-ibig everybody no matter how different we are.
And this is my opinion..:)
I have been hearing a lot on the pagtatalo on gay marriage, and I wanted to get my opinion out there.
Right to the point: I am for it. It would make gay people happy, give them the rights they are entitled to, and it would not hurt anyone else, so why not?
I have heard that some people believe gay marriage somehow demeans the institution of marriage. To that I ask: how? It seems to me that two people who pag-ibig each other and want to spend their life together is what marriage is all about.
Some people also claim that God is against gay marriage. To that I ask: where does it say that? (side note: I...
