Was the wedding Staged for the show???

I watched the new episode tonight...gotta say that it seems most of the things Shannon has a problem with all of a sudden have been there for 28 years. She wants him to be faithful, but he's only gonna try? Why didn't she want him to be faithful for the other 28 years? Now it matters and she feels she has to follow him to make sure he's faithful...I really don't get it. It kinda does seem like it's for the show...but why would you put yourself out there like that. They have to know people are gonna judge this. She wants to beable to trust him again...you mean she's trusted him before, lol! The man wrote about and tells everyone what, who, and how many women he's slept with. I think Shannon knows that it's not gonna change...he's 62, if he hasn't stopped sa pamamagitan ng now, I don't think he will. I'll hope for there sake that this doesn't mess up what they already had..end of my ramble ^__^ x0x0x

My short answer is yes, I think it was. Do we actually know if they signed a marriage certificate? Even if they did...it seems Shannon wanted this commitment or she was leaving. There isn't really a commitment coz Gene only promised to try to be faitful. There really shouldn't be an I'll try...it's yes or no. If you can't say no to other women how can he say he loves Shannon if it's hurting her for him to be with other women. Is that not part of the reason you'd get married, and say til death do us part. Or in Gene's case til the susunod hot chick says hi! I hope it doesn't ruin their relationship coz I think they are perfect for each other. They seem to really be happy...now if Gene could only manage to keep his pants on...hahahaha :D Good luck Shannon and Gene!!!!!
