I am a majory Rory/Jess fan but putting those feelings aside, she was just finishing up with Yale and wasn't completly sure were she was going in life and she needed time to figure things out. Logan had had a year to work out what he wanted but he wasn't prepared to give Rory that same chance! I think she did love Logan but I think she also knew that deep down he wasn't really, 'the one.' And, call me old fashioned but you shouldn't really accept a proposal that comes with an ultimatum.
