My dad drove me to school that morning. As he pulled up to the entrance, I saw Artie. I got out of the car, closed the door, and made sure my dad was out of the school parking lot before catching up with Artie. "Hey."

"Hey." He looked me up and down. "You look nice."

I was wearing a black, sweater tunic with black stocking, and black penny loafers. I had on black eyeliner and smokey eye shadow. Nothing too fancy, but I appreciated the compliment. "Thanks."

We entered McKinley. "See you in first period."

"Bye." Artie wheeled in the opposite direction I was going in.

-at my locker-
I put my all books I took tahanan to do homework in my locker, except my Spanish book. As I closed my locker, I was startled sa pamamagitan ng a guy in a football jersey. He had a mohawk.

"Sol?"

"Yeah." I saw him before in glee club. "You're from glee club, right?"

"Puck."

"Right." The kampanilya rung. "Well I gotta get to Spanish, so see you in glee club." I tried to go around him, but he blocked my path. "Uh, excuse me."

"I couldn't help but notice that you look smokin' ."

"Thanks." He stepped closer. I stepped back. The hallway was getting madami empty sa pamamagitan ng the second. Feeling uneasy, I replied, "I'm a sophomore."

He stepped back. "I didn't mean to scare you. It's just when I see what I want, I come at. Like some sex hormonal shark."

I chuckled. "It's okay, but could you please let me by? I'm going to be late for Spanish." He stepped aside. "Thank you." I walked past him and towards Spanish class.

-at Glee Club-
I sat susunod to Artie today. "Hey."

He smiled at me. "Hey."

Mr. Schue was making an announcement about something called 'Booty Camp'. I raised my hand. "What's 'Booty Camp'?"

"It's just a group for-", Mr. Schue was interrupted sa pamamagitan ng Santana.

"The people who have two left feet."

"I thought it was for people who can't dance", sinabi Brittany.

"They mean the same thing, Brit", sinabi Santana.

"How is having two left feet the same as-"

"Ladies", sinabi Mr. Schue.

"I'll explain it later", Santana sinabi to Brittany.

"Would you like to join, Sol",asked Mr. Schue.

"No. I can dance."

Mr. Schue nodded and kept making his announcement.

As he was finishing up, two boys entered the music room. One I recognized from my first appearance in glee club, the other I didn't recognize at all.
