I think Puck, Kurt, Rachel and his mum and Burt were the only one's who really had a chance at making him change his mind and Rachel didn't try, Burt and Carole I think have yet to do so and I think it was sort of a combination of both Kurt and Puck that finally got him to consider anything else.

Puck was the only one to actually give Finn a solid answer to what else he could do that sounded appealing, so im not surprised. Kurt came close though.

It was weird but I think Finn should find his own dream, not keep grabbing on to everybody else's. and he tried to talk Rachel out of going for her dream. At least she tried to help him find a dream but he was like just go with me and forget NY. WTF Finn...did he not learn anything from what Rachel was doing to him! He made me mad in the last episode.

1. He didn't try to talk Rachel out of going for her dream, he simply suggested another one and asked to consider it, what harm does that do? Unless you're an impulsive sociopath, none.

2. Rachel was the one who actually tried to talk Finn into giving up his life for her, no wait she tried to guilt him into it by saying she couldn't do it without him, there'd be outrage if Finn told Rachel he couldn't go to LA without her but this fandom has serious double standards.

3. He's not grabbing onto anyone's dream, Puck litterally offered him a partnership, if someone approached me offering me a partnership I wouldn't be turning it down in fear of "latching onto someone else's dream" fgs, also as Puck mentioned he could go to college and pursue his own life with the pool cleaning buisness as a side job.

4.Rachel's said she'll try to help him find a dream a number of times now but she never actually does, personally I think it's because she's under the impression that she's his dream. -_-

Actually I think Kurt got to him first and really Puck doesn't care a whole lot about Finn BUT he did help boost his interest in his future. I'd say it was 50/50 even between Kurt and Puck, they both got through to him!

I just think Finndependence is best now, and I ship Rachel with Broadway. I think there should be some tragic good-bye, very sad, but very convincing that they will find their dream, especially Rachel and Kurt. I love their friendship!!! I like Finchel simply because they make Rachel so happy. She really is misunderstood. I live her so much.
