I remember visiting this website once...
It was called 'Gossip Girl' Chuck/Blair Sex Scene Cut For Being Too Explicit
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
While it never entirely lived up to that deliberately racy, controversy-stirring poster campaign,
got away with a lot for a CW show, particularly when it came to Chuck and Blair. It would have been a crime to waste the mind-blowing chemistry between Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick, after all. But there were times when Standards & Practices had to intervene, and in a new interview with Vulture, executive producer Josh Safran reveals one sex scene he regrets having to cut.
"I only regret things like not showing Chuck finger Blair and the dildos and other sexual stuff," Safran says offhandedly, which... hold up, the who and the what now? Thankfully, he went on to expand on both scenes. "We had a story about Chuck taking care of Blair under a table at Xan’s. I don’t think we were able to do it, but we hinted at it.”
... A pause here, as Chair shippers collectively regain their composure. As for the dildos, that was a discarded idea from the first season when Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) rolls into town to torment Serena from afar. In the original version of the episode, "there were dildos [Georgina] sent to Dan at the house, and we had these really huge dildos in this house that Penn [Badgley] was so shocked to see — but we cut it because you couldn’t show them on air. The deleted-scene version, which I don’t think we ever put anywhere, is hilarious because they’re like a foot and a half long. Penn was really shocked.”
fans, but bless Safran for providing the mental image of Dan Humphrey looking startled next to a foot-and-a-half long dildo.
