After 4 years, 74 episodes and 1 almost cancellation Greek has finally approached it's Series finale.

I came across this ipakita sa pamamagitan ng accident 2 years nakaraan on June 15th only a week and a half after graduating high school. The susunod night I tweeted the following message:

"So I randomly caught the "Greek" season finale last night, and I think I might like the show, maybe I'll check it out."

Little did I realize that one event of catching a walang tiyak na layunin show, at a walang tiyak na layunin time would lead me to this point years later.

I would have never guessed that this little ipakita about a group of college students and the Greek system would have impacted me as much as it did.

Yes, I may have come into the ipakita a taon or two late but that doesn't make me any less of a fan.

I pag-ibig this ipakita with all my heart. And maybe to you that sounds strange "How can this girl care about a ipakita like that?"

Because to me, Greek is not just a show. Calling it that seems like a vast understatement. Maybe it's a ipakita some of you will forget sa pamamagitan ng susunod week, susunod month, or maybe even susunod year. But I won't, I refuse to let myself forget about it.

When I first saw Greek I had just graduated high school, I didn't know what I was going to do after that. Would I go to community college? Would I get a job? What was I going to do? I just didn't know.

And even now 2 years later I still am unsure in certain ways. I don't know what my future has in store. But that's okay. Greek has taught me you don't have to have your whole life planned out, even if you do there's no guarantee how things might turn out. But as long as you live to pag-ibig life and keep dreaming and striving then your okay. Your right on track.

That you shouldn't listen to the people who tell you otherwise just because your plans don't match up with there's. And that can be kinda scary, but then I think about the conversations Casey and Cappie have on Spring Break. When Casey says "I'm staring out into the vast empty ocean that is my future." and Cappie tells her "Feels good doesn't?" Because he's right, even in all the uncertainty there is this underlying excitement of it all. And that gives me hope.

In certain ways I grew up with these characters, I learned from them.

We watched Casey go from a simple Sorority girl to a determined girl who fought for what she wanted and wanted to make a difference.

We saw Rusty go from a shy nerd to a guy who became a leader, stood up for what he believed and became confident in who he was.

We saw Rebecca go from a girl who doubted pag-ibig to someone who learned to be in pag-ibig and that being vulnerable was actually okay.

We saw Calvin go from a stiff guy who was semi in the closet to a guy who was proud of who he was and decided to take risks and not take the easy road.

We saw Ashleigh go from a girl who just wanted to get through college to a girl who wanted so much madami for herself and served it, and wanted a career for herself too.

We saw Dale go from a sinabi Christian Hick from the south who hated the greek system to a accepting guy who even joined a fraternity and taught others about the true meaning of brotherhood.

We saw Evan go from the rich pretty boy to the guy who gave up his trust fund and became self sufficient and learned if you don't have mga kaibigan you really don't have much.

We saw Cappie maybe have the biggest transformation of all go from a slacker with no plans for the future to a guy who saw what the future could look like for him and that he could exist in the real world as long as he remained a KT at heart, loving life.

I'll never forget the crazy antics of the KT's, all of the characters witty lines, the relationship between a brother and sister, the friendships that proved to not be "College relationships", the amazing side characters like Beaver, Heath, Wade, Jen K, Katherine, Laura, Betsy, Spidey, Dean Bowman and so many others, all of it!

Much like Kappa Tau Greek is not just a ipakita but a feeling.

Is part of me freaked out because I just spilled my thoughts like this. Yeah but for Greek it was worth it.

A wise person once sinabi the grand essentials of happiness are these 3 things something to do something to pag-ibig and something to hope for. Greek was all 3 of these things to me.

And I thank the show, the writers, the actors, all the cast a crew for there work over the past 4 years.

And so I raise a glass to you (metaphorically speaking) and all you've done. You've made this 20 taon old girl alot happier and much wiser.

Thank you for everything.
