What I am going to write now is something that happened years ago,but still haunts me every single night.I can hear their cries for mercy.I can see their eyes filled with despair.
It happened in the vacation between pasko holidays and Easter holidays.I had to clean their house,so I threw them in a bucket with water.Then I started cleaning.My dad sinabi I had to throw the dirty water outside,so I did.Only I forgot to get them out of it first.When I realized what I had done,my puso started beating very fast and painfully.My throat felt like someone was squeezing it and I couldn't breathe.
My mom saw something was wrong and asked what it was.I said: "I killed the fishes!!!" in complete panic.My brother,who was the owner of the fishes,started crying and my sister ran outside.One of them was already eaten sa pamamagitan ng the cats,but she could save the other one...
A few weeks later it was my sister's turn to clean the aquarium.So she threw the fishes in a bucket with water and cleaned the aquarium.
A few hours later-my parents and sister were gone-I passed the aquarium and saw two of the three fishes lying on their back.I thought 'Oh no.Not again'
When they got back home,I ran outside and sinabi panicking:"I didn't do it!I swear I have nothing to do with it!I just saw it!"
My parents and sister tried to calm me down and I told them the fishes were dead.
My sister sinabi it was probably because she had cleaned the marbles with chlorine tablets...
A few weeks later it was again my turn to clean the aquarium,but I delayed it a bit and they eventually died in their own dirt...
My dad bought new fishes,but he decided it would be safer if we released them...
And at this very moment my sister and I are still not convicted.Their blood is on our hands.So...if you have a scale,fins and you live in the water...beware!
