Is Bella sisne bravo or a coward?

Well, I know Stephanie really tried to make Bella look 'brave' in her books. If you have read Midnight Sun you'll come to know of how Edward describes Bella as being 'brave' for not letting others take of her(when she faints after blood typing). But then again are most people. That not extra-ordinarily bravo or anything like what Meyer claims Bella to be.
Meyer also makes Bella look 'brave' for moving to the cloudy, gloomy Forks(although Renee insists that Bella needn't).
susunod thing is how 'brave' Bella is for being with her vampire boyfriend and not being scared. I know Stephanie intended to make Bella look braver than all of humanity. But it merely points out that, she doesn't even have the wits of figure out the sensible choice.
And about Bella going to the ballet studio to save her mother, okay, can't argue with that. But of course, it could have been done better. She was with 7 super-strong vampires. Obviously they could have done much madami to save Renee than she could possibly have done. Yet, there again Meyer wants Bella to look idiotically 'brave'.
And don't even get me started on how 'brave' Bella is for jumping off cliffs and getting herself almost killed sa pamamagitan ng motorbike accidents. That's stupid and'reckless'.

Bottom line:Bella is idiotically 'brave'/stupid.

In the Twilight pelikula nobody has seen her risk her life for anything, so that means she is a coward to step up.

can i just say that i dont think bella is not brave, she is bravo sa pamamagitan ng the very fine definition of brave. the problem i see mainly is that people compare it to HP. it not exactly fair. harry, ron and hermione were placed in a different situation. i would say bella is madami selfish in a sense. i not saying she is not selfless, she definately is when it come to edwards but i find they way meyer portrayed bella makes her seem like she only cares about her pag-ibig for edwards.. i mean its not the only thing but its the main thing. so in that sense, to me personally, she comes of a bit self centered, therefore in someways misinterpreted with brave. like i sinabi this is madami a feeling i get from the books when i read about bella, so dont go bashing this with fact of any sorts. i know about the facts like her enduring childbirth etc. but all she ever seems to do, is madami for the sake of her or edward.

She's not brave, but she's not COMPLETELY cowardly either. In fact, that's how everything about her is... She's purely average.
An example of when she acted cowardly: When Edward left her. Now that was just pathetic.

There's not enough scenes to prove that if she is either bravo or coward.

COWARD! Strong girls don't jump off cliffs when their boyfriends leave them. They either stay in their rooms and watch Titanic (I'd watch Don't Be a Menace it's not romantic but it;ll make me laugh and feel better :D) and eat tsokolate or flip their hair and say 'on to the susunod one'. Seeing that millions of boys were falling for Bella when she first arrived to Forks, I would have shrugged and sinabi 'pimpin aint easy' and went home. Strong girls also don't hide in tents snogging with shirtless men while everyone else fights for MY SAFETY!

it's not that she is not bravo or completely coward. she has her moment. but most of the time Smeyer exaggerate thing. as if trying to say
"oh bella capable of doing this bravo small thing( that every people normaly would do and some peoples could handle it better) look at how bravo she is when she suffering so much. nobody would do the same as her. she is so special"
which instead of making me symphatize with the character... I feel the same dreaded feeling when I read fanfiction with mary-sue as main character...

SHE IS brave....COZ she is only human between wolfs and vampires......she don't have any powers or skills like others.....

'Attention-seeking teen' is all I could think of when it comes to Bella Swan. Even though she'd go out of her way to solve supernatural and dangerous conflicts, one thing is certain- about 80% of the time, she needs to be saved sa pamamagitan ng someone else when she was the initial heroic.

This is proven in every book but New Moon. This story of the series proves how capable she is of an moronic plea for attention. (I.E. The cliff-diving to interact with Edward again) But her bravery in trying to save her mother without any assistance from any of the Cullen clan shows that she has a very bold and daring side to her seemingly limited personality. This justifies that she is bravo but comes off as an lovelorn, attention-seeker in my opinion.

Bella does too, but only when she can become invincible and have an army of equally invincible Bampira behind her, which she protects with her utterly pathetic superpower. When Hermione's boyfriend leaves her in the middle of the woods, she cries for a while, clears her head, and then devotes her life to fighting against the all-powerful dark lord again, with madami vengeance than before. When Bella's boyfriend, who, sa pamamagitan ng the way, is an old pale dead guy, leaves her in the woods, she jumps off a cliff, not caring what her mga kaibigan or family thought at all. When Hermione's boyfriend comes back, she flies into a rage and refuses to talk to him for weeks. When Bella's boyfriend comes back, she literally cries with happiness, forgetting that he left her stranded in the middle of the woods at night. Alone. When Hermione is confronted with the enemy, she gives it her all, fighting almost to the point of death. When Bella is confronted with the enemy, a vicious newborn vampire named Bree Tanner, she whines and hides behind her invincible boyfriend, scared to be eaten, perhaps.
