Wizards are cooler than vampires. Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort. It's no contest. There was no villain in Twilight. Unless you count James and Victoria, who were actually real vampires. Or the Volturi, who weren't really villains, just really old people stuck in good looking bodies.

Vampires are better than wizards. To be a wizard you have to have a wizard parent(s) or in rare cases can be muggle born, but to be a vampire, you only have to be bitten, no matter who you are.

OMG! I agree with: kenzieiscool and ponygal2006. If I'm being totally honest. I would only life to have an Immortal life if I was in paradise, but anyway if you were a wizard/witch you don't have to be a bloodsucker wishing they were human to become immortal, you'd just have to whip up a Philosopher stone or two and get the Elixir of Life and keep drinking that. So you can die whenever you like.

Also if I was a witch I'd be able to do cool spells and fly on a broomstick.
And I don't want sparkly skin either.

Yeah and CharmedVamp101, Muggle-borns aren't rare at all, they're very common. It's squibs that are rare and how long are you gonna be searching for a vampire to bite you (not even mentioning the pain and persuadance)

Because you wouldn't know what vampires were even if they actually decided to bite you. Twilight 'vampires' ARE NOT VAMPIRES, they are a completely different species known as sparklefairies. LadyLilith: I LOVE Anne Rice :) Claudia would kill off all the Cullens before they even had a chance to blink :D I think Twilight "vampires" even disgrace the name of fairies! I think they are a completely new (rather pathetic) species.

ABDCFan: So agree with you! Who would take living forever in angst and boredom having to kill innocent animals daily over living as a wizard, going to Hogwarts, being able to do so many cool things and having fun?

Also, as Mrs-Grint said, if you were a wizard and wanted to live forever, just get a Philosopher's Stone, whip up The Elixir of Life, and you're done! Much better than drinking animal blood. (Of course, if you REALLY wanted to, Twilight fans, you could always drink unicorn blood, seeing as you don't mind killing innocent beings, or you could even make some horcruxes, seeing as you don't mind maiming your souls...)

Being a witch would be really fun, I could learn spells, go to Hogwarts and ride a broom. I wouldn't really want to live forever, I always thought time would start to drag a bit.

Being hot? Wow, you people are SHALLOW! Besides, being a wizard/witch makes people like longer (look at good old Dumbles), not forever, which is just fine with me. I'd HATE to be immortal.

Not just because I prefer Harry Potter, but I'd rather be able to cast kick-bum spells than be damned to immortality, be immensely pale and not be able to go out in the sun, not to mention the bloodlust. Though the fangs and the prettiness would be kinda cool, but I'm not that shallow that I'd be so desperate to be pretty that I would be damned to sleep in coffins and not eat garlic, besides, even if I was, I would not be able to do my bloody hair in the mirror, because the whole "I can't see myself in there." Besides, I'd always look so bloody tired, and BLUH. I like vampires, (you know the kick-bum yeah I will eat you and turn into a bat kind of thing) but I personally prefer wizards

*imperio - you can command them to die or something

*incendio - LOL, buuuuurn vampires.

Not because they are "hot". But out of personal prefence. I like them better then Wizards.
They are more...seductive.

Okay I would have 2 Choices between:

1- Being dead, being cold, never able to sleep, living forever at the age of 18 and worst being forever in the high school, can't taste food and glittering in the sun, wants to suck blood, sucking blood

or

2-go to school in Hogwarts, get aged, being alive, being warm, can do magic, can learn magic, can sleep, can taste food, can even make food or something else using magic

Than I think I choose the second one ;-)

That is plain stupid CharmedVamp101. Vamp101 huh!?! But there was obviously a first vampire, right? Who bit him? In his novel, Bram Stoker considered his Dracula the first vampire ever. But it was way after Carlisle, Aro and all were already created. So let's disregard the man who brought vampires to the mainstream and read Meyer. In her books, there had always been vampires and when you are bitten you become a vampire. She doesn't actually write that you HAVE TO be bitten to become one. If the wizarding world were to collide with Twilight, I bet that you could cast a spell on yourself to become a vampire! Even if you can't you just have to get bitten... I mean : easy!

But I bet no Harry Potter wants to become a vampire, the twilight way. Killing to survive... Can't go out in the sun... Immortality... No thanks. I'd rather be a wizard and go out on a sunny to look for ingredients to make my philosopher's stone, then go to a gastronomic restaurant, and live along life, deciding when it is time to die! Doesn't it sound awesome, or what!?!

So, what you're saying is(secretly) that you wish you were a wizard, because wizards are special, and vampires are a dime-a-dozen (plus have no special powers besides, what, long life and superstrength)?
