Why does everyone like Bellatrix?

Good lord, I've answered this so much:

I like Bellatrix Lestrange because shes so crazy and funny (in a dark evil way) shes pretty and powerful strong and brave. loyal and devoted (to those she cares for, like Voldy and Cissy) She also seems to look out for Cissy. Not to mention she stands for what she belives in even though its an evil belif but she stuck to it no matter what til the end. She has her own style and her own unique look and doesnt care what people think of that. I ♥ Bellatrix she rocks. No matter how many people hate me for likeing Bellatrix I'm not going to change my mind. Shes my paborito phycopath! Plus she helped alot of the characters develop to a certian extent... Neville - she gave him a sence of courage Harry - She sort of helped him in his decision makeing. She probably even bought Ron and Hermione closer to eachother.

Her being evil is part of why people like her. She's a villain, she'd be a pretty crappy villain if she wasn't evil, wouldn't she? Being sadistic and cruel is what makes a good villain. Liking someone as a character and liking someone as a person are completely different things, so it doesn't matter if they're evil as long as they're good characters. I'm a tagahanga of many villains, I wouldn't like them in real life, but I don't have to. I appreciate them as characters, not potential buddies.
Whether or not her fans would honestly like her if she existed in real life (considering she'd want to murder us all for being muggles), she is well written, interesting and cool so though I personally find her somewhat overrated I understand her being so well liked.
She's also the only female death eater we're properly familiar with, and the only female character who really enjoys the asno kicking side of magic, so I can see that appealing to female fans too :)

Not everyone because I despise her! I mean really! She killed Sirius Black. He wuz Awesum!

She bold, she's a freak (in a good way), and she speaks out with no worry of who it bothers. The way many of us wish we could be instead of holding our tongues. Just say it , it's on your mind. That's our Bellatrix. Plus a body that every woman envy's.

I like Bella because she's a well written character. She's a strong female: loyal, determined, brave, powerful, willing to die for what she believed in. She never put on airs, never backed down.

The fact that she was evil just added to her bad-ass-ness.

Well, I wouldn't say EVERYONE loves her. Harry certainly didn't. But people actually pag-ibig her for being evil and for being a badass. And in the words of Mrs. Weasley, she's also a "bitch". And for some reason, a few people find these things attractive. I don't know why though. o.O

may be 'cuz she has style, it's like ollivander said:
"Voldemort did great thing..."

I think she is so awesome,she is the best character in the whole series!!!Personally i always like evil characters so it's expected of me to like bellatrix!But bella is beyond some evil crazy character,she is amazing,the things she does,the way she does them!!!I can't explain it,she is so magical attractive!!!Plus i think helena bonham carter's pagganap made many people reconsider their opinion for the book's bellatrix!!!She did an amazing job that made bellatrix a likeable and loveable character to madami people!!!

I for one, do not like Bellatrix. She disgusts me. To put so much passion into something so evil, something so inhumane, is sick. She's sick. The Death Eaters are like Nazis were to Hitler and that is not, in anyway, a good thing. Voldemort devotes his life to killing off people he doesn't think are worthy, Bellatrix devotes her life for following her. She kills innocent people! She's a murderer! If she was a real person, she'd be ibingiay the death penalty! Everyone would hate and and the family of those she killed would despise her! Just because she's a character in a book doesn't make her a better or madami likable person than real life murderers. There's my little rant, and I'm not budging on this issue.

bella is the most amazing character in the whole series.... i like her insanity and her loyalty to her master and her pride of herself....yes she's evil and a murderer and everything but isn't that how she's supposed to be cuz she's an evil character....

and as for me i pag-ibig evil characters mostly cuz i find the good ones really boring

yes she is evil but that's what makes her so enjoyable! I would so want to be her for a araw just to see what it's like :) I'm crazy so I could pull it off.

I think the actress(Helen)does such a good job with the character thats its hard not to like her, she plays Bellatrix extremely well.

Psychos intrigue me even in real life. I pag-ibig eccentric, off the pader and extreme characters. I can't stand boring and ordinary ones at all, they're a snooze fest. Bellatrix fits that eccentric criteria for me. Just like Hitler, Manson and Dahmer, I want to pick her brain to figure out why she is the way she is.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I 'like' her, however I think she's a fabulously, derranged and amusing character which adds a lot of drama and spice to the story.

Because Helena like Alan can delight you with such evilness but also entertain you at the same time. Helena entertains you with bonkers/wacky/Voldemort-obsession. Alan entertains us with contempt but also with the puso you know Snape has underneath it all and the care he has despite playing the field of bad and good.

she is my fave female villain. She's very strong, powerful, pretty, loyal and wonderful !! no matter what happened to her, she will always be loyal the Dark Lord .
