Tough crowd... Alice had some immense "art direction"... And Inception is an absolute genius movie...

But it could won... :) fingers crossed

As epic of a movie it was, I'd be surprised if it won.

The competition is big, Alice was great, so was Inception, might be hard to win, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed too :)

awesome! there are always so many good movies, that It should be an honor just being nominated. Everyone cant win and sometimes odd choices are the winners. But best of luck. I hope it wins something before the end of its run susunod year!

I had to laugh the same week we get 2 Oscar noms, Twilight gets 9 razzie noms. HE HE. " OH Vengeance is sweet!"

"Alice" is going to be a tough contender in both art direction (Tim burton !) and visual effects.

I will go and see "The King's Speech" when it is released in France on Feb 2nd. The plot is great, I watched the trailer, it may be a very serious outsider in Art Direction.

Haven't seen the other movies. Just my two-cents.

Hope that one day... Alan Rickman will get an Academy Award. He truly deserves it.

I hope it wins it really has some good effects and inception also has good effects but it's just too much and alice in worderland is too mucg computer, I mean everything is so animated. I hope DH part 1 win

i hope HP will win but against inception,alice in wonderland and king's speech,i can't tell which one is going to get the award...

OKAY. don't get mad people but i must disagree as much as i pag-ibig HP. The 5th & 6th pelikula were amazing as far as visual effects but me (& my fiance noticed BIG TIME) at some points in DH pt.1 (like when they are running in the woods b4 being caught) the camera used looked extremely LOW BUDGET....almost embaressingly.....but don't get me wrong EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT THAT MOVIE WAS AMAZING!!!!!!! AND I REMAIN A DEVOTED HP tagahanga OF THE BOOKS AND MOVIES!But some of the pelikula (you must admit) could be slightly improved upon...some of them.
