Harry Potter Tanong

What did you like and dislike most about DH part 2?

So in the movie, they changed a lot of things from the book.

So basically, out of the stuff that was changed, which changes did you like best and which did you dislike?

Personally, I liked how they changed Snape's death so it wasn't in the Shrieking shack anymore, but I didn't like how Voldemort just burst into pieces when he died, and it wasn't even in public, and same (the burst into pieces thing) when Bellatrix died, I mean, BOTH of them? Get some originality, filmmakers! And it just didn't really work how they just exploded, but that's just my opinions, :P

It was the spell the mom used to kill her. She turned her to stone & then shattered her to pieces.

Harry Potter Sagot

I hated Bella and Voldy blowing into pieces, it was so stupid. Also I didn't like Harry and Voldemort's duel, I liked when they shouted the curses to the heavens, I also liked everyone watching. In the film, everyone acts like nothing happened. I also hated how they killed Lavender Brown.

I loved the 19 years later, Snape's memories, and the Gringotts scene was excellent. Did I mention Alan Rickman estola the show?

I just LOLed at Voldy hugging Draco, that was like the most awkward thing ever.

(The pic is supposed to move, but you get the idea)

Liked
1. Ron and Hermione halik <3
2. when Harry says "Hermione! When have our plans every actually worked? We plan, we get there, all @#$$ breaks lose!" XD
3. For some reason I liked that Severus didn't die in the shreaking shack. Not sure why.
4. Molly saying "Not my daughter you @$#%&."
5. When Harry grabs Voldermort's neck and he jumps off the tower (witch is wierd for me because i uasally like to stick with the books, but the whole Harry/Voldermort fight scene was just so epic :))
Dislike
1. Voldermot and Bellatrix exploding
2. Dumbledors background. where is it?
3. When Voldermort is all happy after Harry dies and he is smiling and kinda hugs Draco.... What the heck?!
4. I wish they had put madami of Snape in the film
5. I didn't like the 19 years later as much as I thought I would.

I liked everything. Everything they changed was for a reason.

But the only thing that irked me was that when Harry died and went to King's Station, Dumbledore didn't talk that much. There was a lack of talking about his past life and him crying. Harry didn't also wake up naked. Kinda disappointed about that...but its okay.

I liked Hermione and Ron's kiss. They didn't mention her fascination with House Elves in the other movie so they couldn't have the original kiss. Hermione kissed Ron after he pondered about the house elves. The movie halik was thank-goodness-we're-alive-together-kind of kiss. And that's okay with me.

I was alright with the changes. They didn't really bother me.

I was disappointed he didn't wake up naked either. I said, "Aww, he isn't naked." The girl beside me gave me a weird look. XD But it's not for any obsessive fangirl reason. XP

there were four things that totally ticked me off.
1. They never talked much about Dumbledore's backstory or his sister or him being mga kaibigan with Grindelwald

2. Bellatrix and Voldemort exploding. What was with that?

3. There wasn't much sinabi about Remus and Tonks having a child. Harry only sinabi "You're son..." and that was it which annoying

4. Harry doesn't even fix his own wand before destroying the Elder Wand

Here are some of the stuff I liked a lot
1. "Not my daughter you bitch!"

2. Snape's memories were just perfect :)

3. Ron and Hermione's kiss

4. At the very end when the segundo generation are going to Hogwarts the ending music from the first Harry Potter is played

I liked Snape's Memories, that was great almost managed to get a tear out of me.

But my god, Bellatrix exploading? What was that. First of all she is a clinically insane death eater whose loyalty is all that drives her. When Her and Molly started dueling did anyone notice the fear on her face? Bellatrix the character to me has no idea what that emotion is and should not be afraid especially of a blood traitor. But I expected alot madami out of that battle to be honest, not 10 segundos and suddenly... Poof. -.-

Alan Rickman's acting. He was just AMAZING! The way they handled Severus' death and his memories was really well done, in fact I think they were the best scenes in the whole series of HP movies. I think Daniel's pagganap was very good also in this movie. The three that really stood out for me were Alan, Daniel and Helena (she was just brilliant as Hermione pretending to be Bella).

I agree with Bella's demise being a bit disappointing. I thought it would have been a bit madami dramatic, and not so...not sure if this is the right word but, comical? And of course there was also a lot of other stuff I would have liked to have seen included in the movie such Dumbledore's back story as well as of course madami of the missing scenes in the prince's tale. Specially since the kid playing young Severus was so adorable!

Oh there were far too many changes in the movie!!!

but some of them were quite good, really!

For example I really liked Minervas duel with Severus. It wasn't as spectacular as in the books but I liked it that the whole school was watching.
But honestly, RED FLAMES??? She's the TRANSFIGURATION-mistress....couldn't they think of something madami creative??

And I liked Snapes death and memories...they changed a lot there but it was still amazing!

Things I didn't like:

1. Voldemort and Bella get blown to pieces...that was completely unneccessary!!

2. Harry and Voldemort.....endless minutos of chasing each other around the castle. WHY? And Harry didn't explain the thiongs about Snape and the wand to Voldy

3. Minerva sending the Slytherins to the dungeons That is just TOO MUCH out of character!

4. Neville having a pathetic speech about pag-ibig and friendship in front of Voldy instead of of being bravo and shouting at him...kinda destroyed his best moment

5. The whole snake-chased during the battle

6. hated it how they didn't ipakita madami of the fights that I found interesting in the book ...like Bellatrix versus Hermione and the others or Voldemort versus McGonagall, Kingsley and Slughorn or Professor Trelawney throwing crystal balls....so many great battle scenes were erased from the movie replaced sa pamamagitan ng hundreds of hudded figures running around and LOTS of explosions

sa pamamagitan ng the way, McGonagall sent the Slytherins to the dungeons because their common room and dormatories are in the dungeons. I thought she was going to send them there to torture them or something like that too, at first, until I relized their rooms were in the dungeons. She just sent them there so they couldn't side with Voldemort.

Things I liked

Neville - He was Freaking AWESOME

The Romione kiss, even though I prefer the way it was in the books.

Molly killing Bellatrix.

I thought the battle was done really well.

The Malfoy's slinking off like the selfish cowards that they are.

I also loved Helena playing Hermione playing Bellatrix, she was amazing as always.

Things I didn't like.

Fred, Tonks and Lupin's deaths, Even though I did cry for me at least it didn't have the emotional impact it did in the books.

Barely any mention of Teddy, apart from what Lupin and Harry sinabi in the forest.

The Epilogue, I don't know why they couldn't have left it exactly as it was in the books, it's not as if it was a hundred pages long.

Well there were some epic moments. I can't say the whole movie was pitch perfect, but it was good. It was very good!

Things I liked:
1. Gringotts. I mean, really? How cool was that dragon? And how he stumbled out, trying to get fresh air, and then spreading his wings...
2. The Room of Requirement. I like the music, I like the general response to Harry, Ron and Hermione, and the talk about the Nawawala diadem.
3. McGonagall and Snape dueling. How she comes in front of Harry, and then they just start.
4. The Room of all Nawawala things. I don't know if it was supposed to be hilarious, but Ron shouting at Goyle "That's my girlfriend" and then running back screaming...yeah, that was funny.
5. Ron and Hermione kiss. Not epic, just really sweet, and appropriate for that scene.
6. Snape's death. That was brutal! But kind of really realistic, true to Voldemort.
7. Snape's memories. That was just..I mean, I cried just for looking in his face, and seeing the pain...oh and I forgot, the beginning with him was awesome.
8. The Forrest. Daniel was amazing. And the talk he had with his mom...really shows you how you could feel, if you ever went to get yourself killed to protect other people..
9. Voldemort dying. Unlike so many of you, i like it. It did confuse me at first, but now that I think about it, it just really works. He died the way he did because he was not human anymore. His whole existence consisted of his horcruxes, so once they were all destroyed, he really had nothing here to hold him to this earth except his own little piece of soul.
10. The best part: how all of the teachers put their powers together to put the shield around the school. and Aberforth casting that Patronus! Now that's what I call epic! Oh and Neville's chase...And Fred's death. That was sooo emotional when Ron came..

Things I didn't like:
1. The Hogsmeade scene. they could have done that mush better. Aberforth, and all that was kind of weak..
2. No Weasley reunion. That was a bit disappointing to see Percy there without a real explanation.
3. Bellatrix' death. I don't know, it just wasn't powerful. I think Avada Kedavra would have been a mush better solution.
4. Harry and Voldemort's non-public fight. I expected him to explain everything to Voldy. In front of everyone.
5. No fight we read about in the book.

I Loved it! It was the perfect Finale for me.

Severus Snape's Death was very well done. I Agree that it was better in the boathouse and not the Shrieking Shack.
The Prince's Tale was phenomenal. Scenes were in yes, but some important info was left out.
Like them on the train, the mudblood calling ...Again. and the Letter that said. "Lots of Love, Lily" ...BUT I think the Tale was very VERY well done. They got it right to make Alan very young without making him look 'out of place' and For me, when he broke into the Potter tahanan and Holding Lily, made up for the Scenes that was missing.

THE WORST PART for me was the ENd. The very end where The trio stands outside Hogwarts. They did not have dumbledore in a frame. they did not to the scene in the office, I even expected that they will have a portrait of Sev....But no....Harry BRAKES the Elder wand and did not REPAIR HIS OWN .....
19 years Later. I'm glad they put the conversation in with Albus Severus and his father...but what about Ron and Hermoine? Ron did not even say like "Thank God you've got your mother's brains" or "I'm famous" it would've been great for exstra laughs at the very End.

But pangkalahatang ... Speechless. Could not have asked for Better. Xxx

I didn't LIKE, I LOVED these parts:
*Hogwarts's Defence and Battle.
*Molly's Duel with Bellatrix and of course "Not my daughter, You Bi**h"
*Snape's memories were beyond perfection.
*Ron and Hermione's halik was perfect and so sweet.
*Mcgonagall's "I always wanted to do that spell"
*Everything about Neville!!
*Snape's "you have your mother's eyes" and when he just cried holding Lily's dead body *sniff sniff* :'(
the gringott's bank sequence and the dragon's flight sequence-just how he breaks free destroying the place to ground and gasped for air when its head burst through the ceiling..! Really cool!

Dislikes:
*Voldemort's Death just wasn't right!!
I would've liked to see his dead body lying there on the ground dead, cold n motionless, would've ibingiay me greater satisfaction. just blowing up into ashes wasn't quite what I was hoping for. But still it is understandable since his soul was shattered and the last bit destroyed. So yeah that sort of makes sense.
But Bellatrix's death was not proper.
It wasn't justice!
*And what was with Harry just Breaking the Elder Wand without repairing the his own Phoenix core wand! that was a very important part which was removed!!
*I woul've liked to have seen Lupin and Tonks's son in the 19 years later part.
*The Harry-Voldemort final duel could've been madami dramatic.
*Didn't like how no one except Ginny re-acted to the fake news of Harry's death, Yeah maybe it was still not sinking in and unbelieveable but still at least some shocked faces would've been proper!
*And what was that whole Voldemort-Draco bromance thing... :/ I can't believe he actually hugged him.. I was like "huh?!?"
*Would've liked to see some madami of Snape. (but I loved the part they did show)

But, all in all the movie was one of the most EPIC experiences of my life!! A part of my childhood rolled its credits.

I liked Severus' death scene and memories -- even madami so than in the book. I liked the Romione kiss, Ron's explanation of why he could say 'open' in Parsletongue, and the Room of Hidden Things scene. And I loved that the Malfoy's just walked away.

Oh, and the scene in the Great Hall, where Severus is talking to the students and then fights McGonagall. In fact, McGonagall in general.

I didn't like a lot of the special effects: the Imperio spell suddenly being a scent that makes people listen, the Horcruxes suddenly turning into ash and smoke, Voldemort and Bellatrix exploding.

I also didn't like that Voldemort and Harry fought alone, instead of in front of everyone, and how the battle was kinda rushed. I also wished they would have kept a few madami of Severus' memories in there.

What I liked: Ron and Hermione's halik was so passionate and perfect, I went "Wooo!" along with the audience. Even if it wasn't in front of Harry (I'd pag-ibig to see his reaction), it was great.

Alan Rickman was absolutely brilliant in this final movie as Snape. He really brought out his character through his last moments.

Voldemort hugging Draco-so awkward, yet so hilarious.

The battle between McGonagall and Snape. It wasn't long, but it was really epic! And quite frankly, I liked McGoangall in this a lot (I laughed when she said, "Yes, Longbottom. Boom!" XD).

Neville's chance to shine in this movie wasn't missed; that's great. From standing up to the Snatchers to breaking the bridge to slicing Nagini's head off-yes, it was great. Neville was just fantastic!

I liked Luna in this, too. Sure, her part was pretty small, but I liked when she shouted, "Harry Potter, you listen to me right now!" (or something like that).

Basically, everything else, too. But those were my favorite

What I disliked: The Slytherins were "sent to the dungeons." What was that about? It was just Pansy Big-Mouth Parkinson who spoke out. They shouldn't rule out the entire Slytherin group like that.

For some reason, I hate how we never saw Snape call Lily a Mudblood. It just broke the friendship they had, and I really wanted to see it. We had two chances to see it, but we never did. I understood it had little to do with Harry Potter, but still...

Why did they kill Lavender? They had no reason to do so, did they? She was a good person (annoying, but still good) and she didn't even die in the book.

And what about Teddy, Tonk and Lupin's kid! They didn't even announce it; Harry just mentioned his kid after they died. That ticked me off!

I didn't like how they made Bellatrix explode. She should've just died-just falling to the floor, dead. I get how Voldemort ended like that, and her too, but I prefer that she just died without shattering to pieces.

2.) Neville killing Nagini! He finally had his shining moment :')
3.) Hermione hugging Harry..I just thought it was REALLY cute (:
4.) Alan Rickman's acting...incredible!
5.) The "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU B*TCH" part, although I wish it was shouted
6.) McGonagall vs. Snape--EPIC! And the whole school watching just put the icing on the cake, in my opinion :D
7.) Voldy hugging Draco--BEST AWKWARD BROMANCE EVER!
8.) Harry saying to Hermione, "Hermione, when have our plans actually WORKED?! We plan, we get there, all h*ll brakes loose" XD
9.) Harry grabbing Voldy and jumping off the edge with him...BEST MOMENT EVER! (even though it wasn't books)

Disliked:
1.) In King's Cross, Dumbledore didn't talk as much about his past and everything as in the book. Also, I realized that Harry's eyes were blue there, Dan's natural color..Usually his eyes get edited to be green..I wonder if they purposely didn't edit them? But..why wouldn't they?
2.) I didn't like how Voldy and Bella just, like, exploded..what the &*%# ?!??!! I mean, I know it depends on what spell was used..but still, it just didn't..seem right
3.)I wish that that they had the whole Sorting Hat thing when Voldy puts it on Neville's head and it bursts into flames
4.)I wish that Neville got madami in Voldemort's face instead of just having a speech about bravery and everything..even though it was a very nice speech, i wish Neville yelled madami and stuff
5.) I wish that everyone was there and watching when Voldy was killed
6.) I wish that they had the scene at Shell Cottage when Remus comes and tells everyone about he and Tonks' baby and proclaims Harry as godfather..I thought it was such a nice part in the book :') But even during the final battle when Remus reappears using the Resurrection Stone, at least a BIT madami could've been sinabi about Teddy.

Ok, I'm done(:
