Who do you think are the most underrated characters?

How can Severus be under-rated if he's one of the most popular characters?

Book wise, I think Dean, Zabini, Flitwick, Sprout, and Charlie Wealsey are pretty underrated.

Movie wise, I think Tonks, Lupin, Aberforth, Kreacher, and Narcissa are under-rated (and under-used!)

Underrated? How the hell can they be underrated if half the world loves them?

all my fav characters are underrated, Ginny (she probably the least fav female character in harry potter, but i think she's amazing, she's my fav actually), Neville (everyone begin to notice him at the last moment, before that Crookshanks probably madami popular than him), Luna (she's one of kind, what madami can i say, she awesome)

There are quite a few of those: Neville, Luna, some members of the Weasley family, Lupin, Tonks...

I always hoped these characters would get madami praise: Dobby, Moody, Prof McGonagal, and Hagrid.

McGonagall and Flitwick... for sure...

I'd say Snape, Neville, and Luna.

I loved him since the very beggining, but everyone seems to pag-ibig him after his death.

NEVILLE. HE IS THE ONLY UNDERRATED CHARACTER ON HARRY POTTER. EVER. AND IT'S UNFAIR. HE IS THE BEST!and look how hot he is now. ;)

Probably Pansy Parkinson. shes really credited in the books as 'draco's girl' but we never see that in the movies, so being 'Draco's girl' is a pretty high place to be. and shes not really noticed.

Neville Longbottom...such an amazing character and the movie's never really showed his true potential (until DH pt.2, then he kicked ass!)

Under-rated: Neville, Professor Sprout, Flitwick, McGonagall, Colin,

Most underated are Lupin, Hagrid, Moody, Kingsley, & Lucius.

But Bellatrix gets the most undeserved hate!


& to me Hermionie & Flur are very overrated

Um...I'd say...Er...Wormtail. 99.9% of the people who know HP hate Peter Pettigrew.

to me, we shoulda seen madami of lockhart, tonks, moody, and trelawney.

Definitely McGonagall as well as Molly Weasley, 2 of my favorites. I would also say Lucius Malfoy.

I have to agree that Snape is now overrated. It was like everyone hated him til the 7th book and now people are in pag-ibig with him. Ginny is also overrated as is Bellatrix (who is awesome but still over liked).

I think Ginny is underrated, at least in the books because everyone just looks at her as the baby sister but she's madami than that everyone tells her she's too young or that she can't handle something. (tombs in egypt, listening to the order meeting, not letting her fight) But really she can hold her own she was in the D.A. she went to the ministry even Slughorn could see her potential but her family always saw her as the baby when in reality she was forced to grow up fast (being possessed and nearly murdered will do that) and she's serious about fighting for what she believes in, and despite everyone telling her she can't she goes out and she fights Voldemort anyways.

I think James Potter, Percy Weasley and Fleur Delcour are the most underrated characters.

Severus Snape is, in fact, heavily overrated.

I would say that Snape and even occasionally Hermione (even though I pag-ibig her) are 2 of the most overrated characters.

I would say, Neville, Cho, and McConagall are really underrated

So many memes centered around Snape. He's one of the most popular characters.

Tracey Davis, Theodore Nott, Blaise Zabini, Professor Vector, Flitwick, Padma/ Parvati Patil, Susan Bones, Dennis Creevey etc., etc.

So many underrated characters.

Hermione and Snape? Really?! They're really strongly rated, a lot of people pag-ibig both those characters.

The character I think is the most underrated is Ginny. She gets a lot of hate and I don't really understand it. Molly gets similar treatment too, as does Cho.

Books-Ginny, because she is only ever seen as Harry's wife and Ron's little sister. Nothing else.

Fandom- Don't judge me, but I think Harry is kind of underrated. Now let me explain- yes, while he's the main protagonist, he seems to get the least attention out of all the main characters. And even a lot the minor characters. I think it may be because people think it's too "cliche" to like the main character.
Please don't hate me! It's my opinion.

I think the underrated character, imo, is Harry Potter. He is the main character of the series but I hardly see or notice anyone that listed Harry as their paborito character.

Ginny Weasley and Neville Longbottom. Everyone seems to forget that they are part of JK Rowling's big seven. And what happened to Ginny in the films?! Ginny does so many important things in the series and rarely gets recognition for them. Neville often gets brushed aside as just a clumsy fool, but he is bravo and smart! They are both amazing, important, and underrated.

That being said... other characters I think are extremely underrated are Cho(!!!!), Neville, Tonks, Andromeda, Percy and Ron.

Ginny is so underrated. She's so over-hated, I can't even believe it. It's ridiculous.
