I don't think he needs a patronus. Dementors are like his friends..

Bellatrix... He's so secretly in pag-ibig with her that his affection appares in the form of a patronus. That's why he doesn't use the patronus charm much, he's afraid someone might find out about his true feelings for his servant.

You people say none of the Death Eaters can cast a Patronus? Why the bloody hell not? They are grown wizards and surely have happy memories. Just because someone is a criminal, doesn't mean he doesn't have happy memories or enough magical skill to perform a Patronus Charm (which sa pamamagitan ng the way could be performed sa pamamagitan ng a whole bloody lot of 13-15 taon olds during DA classes and thus can't be that difficult). Dear people, please stop picking on Death Eaters.
