This one was "classic". I mean, there was "only" a crazy-guy who escaped and tried to kill Harry. Also there was Quiddish, a fear and a lot of other things. In other movies was always something wrong with Hogwarts.

one of my favourite scenes that i think best represents the spirit of Harry's world is his first time in Diagon Alley. it's just so magical! i would have been so overwhelmed in the best way possible!

First two movies were the most accurate to the books while the third one defiantly captured the feel of harry potter plus dementors, sirius black, hermione punching draco (lol) and i love the whole look of the film totally unique!!

They get progressively less magical each film, deviating to greater lengths. The first two are the only two that keep the world intact, without getting too invested in artistic license that is not needed, and which have made gaping plot-holes.

I think the first one really managed to potray the WORLD of Harry Potter. I mean, it's the one where Harry himself learns about the wizarding world, and so, we learn about it with him. Plus, the first movie was almost exactly like the book!
I didn't like the second one much for a reason I still can't figure out.
The third one was my favorite out of all of them, but I still think that the Harry Potter 'mood' is captured by the first one.
The fourth one was awesome, too, but there were a lot of changes made in it- which I didn't appreciate much.
I didn't like Order of the Phoenix at ALL. I mean, the book was AMAZING- but the film was rushed...
Half Blood Prince was always meant to be a very dark part of the franchise. I think the film captured the 'darkness' of the part, and it was all good. Except the end- I didn't appreciate that at all. I mean, they didn't even SHOW Dumbledore's funeral- the best wizard of all time had died and they practically showed no importance in the film. Soo.... =D
