Definetely caught me by surprise in the movie, but it was nice.

I like them together, but they weren't a couple in the books, why do they have to be a couple in the movies?

It's not that I don't like them together, it's that it was non-canonical. It would have been fine if it had been subtle, but why did they have to be so blatant about it?

And actually as far as canon goes, it's not that big a deal because the movie never said that they ended up together in the long run. All it did was intimate that they had feelings for each other. Which even in canon could've happened- we don't know that much about what happened between the end of the battle and where they ended up 19 years later.

It's one of my least favourite non-canon couples and I hate how everyone thinks it's so god-damn cute! It's not! How could they be a couple when they have nothing in common!? They're don't have similiar interests or anything. All they have in common is friendships with other people and that's not enough.
