I would definitely say Snape's Memories, they were very sweet in a way. I expected Percy's Return from "the dark side," but it was still nice.

EDIT: Oh, another choice has been added, Harry walking with his parents and Sirius and Lupin to sacrifice himself, that would be tied with Snape's Memories for me.

I wasnt shocked by Snape's memory, I thought that he had feelings for Lily but I didnt think it went that far. I didnt think that the love for her was that strong, for him to do what he has been doing all these years to protect Harry, especially since it was also James's son...It was a very touching moment and one of my many favorites in the book...

Such a tough question, I actually bawled my eyes out during all the above suggestions, but Dobby really made me cry, only because we've known him for so long and he's just such a lovely warm hearted character. What made me cry even more about the whole thing was probably Harry's reaction - the way he dug the grave without magic, and then then the other boys came and hepled too. It was all really lovely.

Dobby's burial was beautiful, he died a free elf and as a free elf he could have scorned all humans who had treated him so ill and left Harry to die, but he didn't. He was noble and brave to the last and died defending Harry.
Of course, so many characters died that death began to lose meaning, but I think the way Dobby died was especially sad. Where do house elves go after death?

All of these things are really touching but when Harry walked with his parents, Sirius and Remus to sacrifice himself, I just started sobbing

i sobbed for a good 20 minutes- im not even lying! he was leaving behind all his(living) loved ones, not even able to say goodbye! i cryed sooooo hard! im so glad i dint skip ahead!

I loved how close Harry and Hermione were, like when Harry was upset about Dumbledore and Hermione told him she knew Dumbledore loved him. And her running her fingers through his hair as she left. Its so sweet! It just shows how really close they all were.

I think that the point when Harry walking to death with his parents, I was so pissed at the book, that it didn't effect me. The only time I cried was during Snape's memories...and that because I felt really bad for Snape. It was like okay, your going to forgive James, but your not going forgive your best friend for something he probely didn't mean. I lost a LOT or respect for Lily in that book!

Snapes memories was the moment when I started crying. It was the tunring point of moving moments. I was a wreck.

Snape's memories were the ultimate revelation of every single thing he ever did for Harry and Lily. That, for me, was more touching than all the other parts of the book because it's where I finally saw through Severus Snape as a man. And may I say, he was, all along, a great man. His love for Lily was unmeasurable.

Especially when he asked Harry to let him look into his eyes as he was dying.

Harry called snape the bravest person he ever knew- that alot from wanting to kill him and hating his guts to his the bravest person ever wow

freds death-why fred his was so funny and only one twin died how sad... and the fact that he and percy had just made up

Kreacher- he hated harry and then he fought alongside him how sweet, all he need was a little love

With percy coming back the same thing- he had turned against the family and when they needed him he came awww

with hermione- just that the came be friends that care for each other, but aren't in LOVE with each other

Grave- has anyone ever seen the grave of a loved one it is so moving

Ron- saving harry even thought he walk out and how he made a mistake and he fixed it all by himself.

harry potter is just amazing

it was such a beautiful moment, he knew that he had to die for voldemort to die and the fact that his parents and godfather would walk with him to his doom makes it even sweeter

I cried a long time. That was one of the best parts in whole book. And like likatika said it was such a beautiful moment too.

I didn't understand the significance of Harry walking with his parents to his death. It seemed like it was just an added bit to show Harry using the stone. Besides, we already knew that the stone doesn't truly bring people back and that they don't want to come back from the dead anyway, regardless of who's dying at the time.

I just thought it was more awkward and silly than actually heartwarming.

Kreacher! (L) I loved him. All along. And Dobby too. Okay, so the most touching scenes were I think Kreacher's turnaround and Harry walking with his parents and Sirius.

When I read the part where Harry walked, accompanied by his parents and his godfather to his death, I cried. Very touching!! Also, when George knelt beside Fred after his death! And Snape's memories!

Actually, all the scenes in the Harry Potter7 touching!!

When Molly kills Bellatrix because she has almost killed Ginny and ... wait! Is Bellatrix who killed Fred? I read the seventh book and I don't know who exactly murderer Fred!!

i cried when he was like always and his potronus was a doe like lilys and i was so sad and the guilt harry must feel after the memories but the death walking thing and when harry called snape the bravest man he ever knew i was like omg then i started crying again and fred was crushed by a wall

All of those moments were extremely touching, but when Harry was walking torwards his death with his parents, Sirius, and Lupin was so touching and sad, the part when Harry told his mom to stay close to him was actually one of the few times in the books that brought tears to my eyes. The part when Harry said Snape was the bravest man he ever knew was also very touching

it's a very difficult question. all the scenes are touching. i never dried my face the days i read the book. my eyes were busy to shower. but, i think i would choose snape's memories.
