Read Chapter 1 of The Sorcerer/Philosopher's Stone ''The Boy Who Lived'' and I was instantly a fan.

Reading the 1st novel back in 1998/99 ;)

I read the 2nd book first, a bit weird i no but it was the only one they had at the library at that point! By the 2nd chapter I knew that this was gonna be the best book (series) I'd ever read :D

my now sister in law made my brother and I watch it at the be beginning of summer 01 by the end of the summer we both read all the books out

I saw the 2nd movie in the theater b4 anything. My dad dragged me to it(he was to embarrassed to be seen seeing it as a grown almost 45 year old man at the time). And ever since then i've been hooked.

I first watched HP 1 & then books.......

I used to think the books were just for kids, as much as my mother was saying how good they are. Then I was at the theater and I saw the trailer for the first Harry Potter movie, and thought "That doesn't look half bad." So I borrowed the first four books from my mom and went through them all in one week, which is saying something considering I am slow reader. So I became hooked, seeing every movie when they came out and standing in line at the book store for books 5 thru 7.

I remember seeing the first movie, and parts of the second before reading the actual books. Of course then, I had no idea what was going on..

I watched the first three movies before reading the books.

Only it was Norwegian and it was bad. I Think the first best one was renting the first film on VHS.

Philosopher's Stone

I still remember that day so clearly in my mind. I was 4 years old and that was just about the time Sorceror's Stone came out. I was in the store with my sister, and she bought it for me. I've been obsessed ever since. :)

I watched the first movie, loved it and then read the first book and I was hooked from then on!

From the first word in the Philosopher's stone book I loved it ,And then I watched the movies on my DVD I love it so much I still have them all <3

My sister would pick "Somebody reading HP books to me" :)

... ause HP, to me, was "boy stuff" ;)

I remember seeing the first movie when it came out. <3 Then I went on to the books, and I've been in love with HP ever since.
