The black tom ran through the trees. A beautiful silver she cat was beside him. The one he loved. He couldnt control his purring as they approached a yungib that smelled of milk. When they entered tiny kits tackled him playfully. "Im dead!" the tom joked playfully and flopped on the ground as his kin squealed. The silver she cat began stroking his long silky balahibo with her tongue. He looked up to see her beautiful face. It was sweet natured and light and feathery. Suddenly she looked away and looked back at him. Her face was now a reddish rust color. "Mother!" he exclaimed. He closed his eyes at the thought. The face changed again, but now to a fierce dark brown. The cat launched herself at him and he woke up hot and sweaty. "It was just a dream?" his eyes burned " It was just a dream." he murmured. How much he wanted it to have been real. The first part anyway.
"Have you gotten me water yet?" The brown face appeared again.
"No. I was just about to Fang."
Fang growled at him "Get me a mouse while your at it Marchpaw!"
Marchpaw got up and padded across the soaked earth. Paw prints could be seen. They were making a trail so he followed it. After a ways of walking they stopped.
Something growled fiercly and he turned to see a giant ginger cat standing in front of him.
"A lion!" he exclaimed.
"Stupid cat! I am a Tiger and I rule these forests. What are you doing here?"
I- I- I...." Marchpaw choked out.
Mist swirled around him as he saw the silver she Pusa lovely face again. Then his mothers. Then a light calico's. Emberstar. He thought. They raced through his mind. And Whiteshadow! He felt like his puso was being torn out. Then he thought, it will be soon.
