I'm a big tagahanga of the Masters of the Universe franchise, including both He-Man and She-Ra, so it's my pleasure to share some fun facts about the franchise. For this article, I'll be focusing on the original He-Man series, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and the original She-Ra series, She-Ra: Princess of Power.
Originally, a majority of the male characters in He-Man were going to have names that ended with the word Man. This ended up not being used for all of the male characters, but it still applied to some, such as He-Man, Beast Man and Mer-Man.
Skeletor was the main antagonist of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, while Hordak was the main antagonist of She-Ra: Princess of Power. It was implied that Horde Prime was a madami dangerous threat than both of them, but his true potential wasn't explored until the She-Ra reboot.
Lou Scheimer, who founded Filmation, voiced Orko, matulin Find, Horde Prime and several other characters in the franchise.
Alan Oppenheimer is best known for voicing the villainous Skeletor, but he also voiced some of the heroes, including Man-At-Arms and Battle Cat.
Prince Adam (He-Man) was the brother of Princess Adora (She-Ra) in the original She-Ra series. However, the She-Ra reboot didn't have He-Man in it and the other He-Man shows don't have She-Ra in them.
Although Adora was Eternia's princess, she didn't live there. That was because she was kidnapped and raised sa pamamagitan ng Hordak in Etheria. After learning the truth, Adora decided to stay in Etheria, so she could defend the land from her villainous adoptive father.
Before living in Snake Mountain, Skeletor worked for Hordak. However, the overly-ambitious Skeletor quickly betrayed Hordak and decided to stay in Eternia rather than Etheria.
Although Hordak mentored Skeletor, Skeletor grew up to be even eviler than Hordak. Although Hordak was certainly a villain, he did have some genuine respect for Adora and seemed to enjoy the company of his pet bat named Imp. Skeletor, on the other hand, had very little respect for anyone other than himself and, to a lesser extent, his pet panter named Panthor. The only time that Skeletor really showed his humanity was in the pasko special.
Skeletor occasionally caused problems in Etheria, but he primarily went over Eternia. Hordak, on the other hand, had taken over Etheria.
Hordak served as She-Ra arch-enemy, but his older brother, Horde Prime, was a bigger threat.
The Ra part of She-Ra's name came from the sun deity named Ra. He-Man's name, on the other hand, just states his gender.
Meleny Britt voiced She-Ra in the original series. It wasn't the first Filmation superhero that she had voiced, because she also voiced Batgirl in The New Adventures of Batman. In both Batman and She-Ra, she voiced a cat-themed villain. In Batman, she voiced Catwoman, while in She-Ra, she voiced Catra.

The Sorceress was Teela's birth mother, but that information had to be kept a secret. Because of that, Man-At-Arms served as Teela's adopted father.
