Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Morgan Spector and Mackenzie Astin have boarded the Showtime drama.
The drama starring Claire Danes has added Morgan Spector and Mackenzie Astin to its upcoming seventh season. Production of the new installment started up on Sept. 11 in Richmond, Virginia, with plans for the Fox 21 Television Studios-produced series to premiere on Showtime in early 2018.
Spector has been cast in a series regular role as Dante Allen, an old friend of Carrie’s who is investigating the 200 people detained by the Keane administration following the assassination attempt on the President-elect. Astin will play the recurring guest role of Carrie’s brother-in-law, Bill. He recently left a teaching job at American University to work for the Keane administration at the Department of the Treasury.
In July, the drama upped actors Jake Weber, Linus Roache and Maury Sterling to series regulars in an attempt to fill the void left by its departed star (Rupert Friend) last season. The killing off of the major character lead to uproar from a group of disgruntled
magazine that criticized the show's creative team for the decision.
