When I remember Tuesday
I'll remember to think of you
When you remember Tuesday
I hope you will too
These years that have passed
We can't take them back
Even if we didn't want to
the strength is what we lack
Yeah the pain takes it's burden now
and we both want to take it all
every moment we were rising
and every moment we took a fall
but sweetie there's no point
in taking away what we want to erase
because no matter how hard we try
all those memories we'll have to face
They stay with us no matter what
Simply everywhere we may go
embedded in every piece of us
though we don't feel it or show
I think back those years ago
when our everything first began
our jobs as House's little kiddies
when first recognized as his fan.
But once I turned away
my direction dwelled elsewhere
and I turned to you for games
where everything was so fair.
But your feelings somehow changed
in a short period of time
and as a reminder for every week
You turned and claimed "Your mine,"
I denied your feelings curtly,
and denied my own at that
these impossible evolved feelings
from having sex in front of a cat
But you eventually turned me around
causing me to come to your door
you were shocked at the very scene
me coming and asking you for more
since then things haven't changed
until commitment came into the picture
I doubted your true motives
of making us a fixture
but once things came together
when everything fell into place
I saw you standing near the end
as I slowly walked with grace
with everything left behind us
all wrongs left and done
we turned our faces in the new direction
happy that we finally won
and with that, this seems to hurt the most
What in my mind Robert Frost must always say
the sad truth that seems to go for us,
that "nothing ginto can stay."
This seemed to happen for our hearts
yours changed as mind did too
and when things like that occur
there's nothing left to do
