Chapter Two: Greener Death?
Suddenly, a looming figure zoomed past them. The thing was dragon-looking, ferocious and green.
“Another Green Death?” Nell asked Hiccup, her fellow expert on dragons
“Looks like it.” Hiccup told her friend. Together, the three Viking teenagers raced to see what the thing was.
“Guys?” Mot yelled. All three of their dragons were flying at godspeed, so it was difficult to hear.
“What, Mot?” Hiccup yelled in return.
“I have a bad feeling about this,” Mot told his friends, “maybe we should go back?”
“No way!” Nell told her cousin, “We should see if it is a Green Death. If so, we can warn the village.”
“No! Nell,” Hiccup told her best friend, “Mot has the best intuition. We can’t defeat this thing. Not alone. If we try, we’ll die in the process. And we can warn the village either way.”
“No!” Mot warned Hiccup, “I have a feeling, that if we tell them, most of the Vikings will wanna fight dragons again. And we’ll all be toast. We should just tell Lottie.”
“What about Tren?” Nell asked Mot
“Are you kidding?” Hiccup yelled. For some reason, they were still going at godspeed, “Tren is the worst secret-keeper in the world.”
“Yeah,” Mot agreed, “Lottie would never tell. We have to go back.”
“Fine…” Nell agreed.
All three of them turned back towards the village.
