Holiday 2010 tagahanga Fiction Contest
Hello Huli’s! After conferring with some mga kaibigan I was thinking that a contest is in order. I know we have had them before and I have enjoyed them immensely. I think this will be fun and give us new pagbaba material at the same time!
Here are the rules:
1)Dates for entries will be November 23rd, 2010 through December 15th 2010.
2)One entry per person.
3)Applicants must pick from the following categories:
A Holiday Story
pasko Eve/Christmas night
New Year’s Eve
A Holiday Vacation Abroad
Gift Exchange
As many people can write in one category as they want. If we get 5 entries in one category and none in another, so be it. We will be voting across categories so no problem there.
4)Once you have written your story and are ready to ilathala it, please send it to my email: belva0308@yahoo.com
In the interest of “blind” voting, I will assign a number to each entry and post them from my user name so no one will know who the winner is until voted on and announced. I WILL post your original pamagat along with the number. Also please message me if you ibigay an entry so I make sure that I find it in the event it goes to my spam inbox.
5)This is a ONE SHOT FF only.
6)Voting will take place from December 16th – December 28th.
7)Winner will be announced officially on New Year’s Day! If anyone has any tanong or would like to see some changes, please speak up tonight or tomorrow before the entries begin.
PLEASE I encourage everyone to sumali in and even if you have never dared write a FF before, take a chance and try one. I hope that the blind voting will take some of the apprehension out of it. I don’t know how many times people have told me they can’t write and then when they finally take a chance and do it, it is such a pleasure to read their original work.
