It is something indescribable.
The way sunlight hits the ground in a forest,
dappled sa pamamagitan ng the leaves.
Silence,
only broken sa pamamagitan ng the rustle of branches
and the slow gurgle of a languid stream.
The way moonlight hits a quiet pond,
the glow rippling out
until it melds seamlessly into the darkness.
Can you put that into words?

She walks down the hallway,
a picture nagyelo in time,
for just one moment.
Her dress flows behind her,
the wings of a butterfly,
or the glow that...

Jo sat down froze in front of Hugh. She was stunned with what Hugh have just said. A decision that would surely change everything. Hugh didn’t face his wife, instead he placed his piercing blue eyes to the children he planned to ilipat back to London.
Hugh: We will have them back in their old school and settle back there like we used to…
Jo: Hugh, what the hell is going on? Were you fired? If you are, just tell me…
Hugh: I wasn’t --- <he looked at his wife who sat straight now>
Jo: Then what made you decide to ilipat back our family home? <Hugh was silent> We can’t just leave...

    “Hugh, what are you doing?” Lisa asked, her voice shaky.
    There was still half a foot of puwang between them, but he still had her hand and was rubbing the soft skin of her palm hypnotically, his eyes boring into hers.
    “Nothing,” he sinabi lamely.
    “Hugh…” Lisa’s stomach dropped to her feet as he began to lean forward, excruciatingly slowly. “Hugh please, you can’t keep doing this to me! You’re married.”

    Hugh shook his head sharply, looking closely at his wife. She was avoiding his gaze. And suddenly, he knew. They were talking about two entirely different things.
    “Why don’t you start from the beginning?” He asked gently, inwardly bracing himself. Jo nodded, to all intents and purposes looking as calm as ever. Only Hugh knew, from unfortunate experience, that it was all a show. She was panicked. She spoke.
    “I met someone.”



    “Um—” Hugh gaped at her, his mind...

Ok, boys and girls... there is some strong language in this chapter... you have been warned! (Also, fun fact: this story as a whole is now 65 pages long!)

    Padding around the house barefoot, Hugh made a ghostly looking specter. His pale face floated up one hallway and down another, the image aided from the steam rising out of his coffee mug as he waited for it to cool. Not a single person would blame the man for wanting a real drink at this point, but Hugh had always avoided strong spirits, for a number of reasons. Tonight the tuktok few went a little...

The Christmas-hiatus was very long. Hugh went back to England to celebrate pasko with his children, however it was a little weird to be « alone » with the kids. He and Jo have already filed for divorce and the divorce should be pronounced in a few weeks.
Now, he’s back in L.A. and all he can think about is … Lisa. Why hasn’t she waited still a few months ! Why did she meet and petsa Robert right now ? He’ll be free in a few weeks ! Free to tell her how much he loves her, how many times he dreamt he was making pag-ibig with her, halik her …« Com’on, boy, nothing is lost, you still...

    It wasn’t Lisa.
    A very similar accent floated back at him, a voice he had not heard in some time…
    “James. Have you finished for the night?”
    Hugh’s voice nearly cracked, and he tensed his diaphragm as hard as it would go to stop it. “Jo. I didn’t know you were—what are you doing here?”

I have discovered that I had totally the wrong name for Lisa's dog! Apparently it is named Shazam, and I've been calling it Kapow all this time (of all things to screw up... lol) so please note that from now on, if the dog makes an appearance, it will have its correct name.

    “Whatever it is, just—say it quickly,” Lisa mumbled emptily, still playing with the glass baubles from the coffee table. Hugh stopped in front of her, shifting his weight slightly.

    Lisa stretched luxuriously as her alarm went off a few days later. Pointing her toes and raising her arms above her head, she arched her back until she heard the kinks work their way out.
    And then she began her new morning ritual.
    Yoga had always been a way for her to clear her mind, to focus her energy on the araw ahead, and recently she had started using it as a madami targeted form of therapy—almost, she told herself one day, like a Hugh patch.

Chapter 18: Booty call unwanted

Four months later


“Ugh... Lisa.. what time is it?” Hugh muttered being just awoken in the middle of night sa pamamagitan ng his pregnant wife.
“Three am” Lisa kissed Hugh's kwelyo bone while she ran her hands up and down his chest.
“We have a shooting tomorrow, I need my sleep” Hugh muttered again, and rolling himself on his side, started to drift off.

Hugh sat in his study, holding the latest script in his hands, not really giving it a look. He was too immersed in his thought. The last three weeks had been, to say the least, like hell. Chapter 14: Disappointment

A buwan later

“Lisa, you can't go run to bathroom to do a pregnancy test a minuto after we had sex” Hugh stood susunod to the closed bathroom door. Ever since Lisa was let out of the hospital, they had been trying to get pregnant. He had no idea how much his wife wanted to have a kid.
She was going crazy about the whole thing. She was testing every araw and not one time had the test shown...

Chapter 7: Anticipation

A buwan later:
“Are you sure you want to do this?” Lisa asked checking her hair out once madami as she and Hugh sat in the limo, going to the Emmy awards.
“Yes” Hugh smiled at her. He couldn't help but find Lisa's trembling funny. She was nervous, but not because she was nominated for an Emmy for a first time....

After the little halik on set, Lisa ran off, completely embarrassed. She couldn't believe she'd done that. She had watched Hugh's expression - he had enjoyed it, but David. There he was. Sitting and waiting in this luxury big black limousine. A small bag susunod to him.
“Wow. He looks so handsome.”, she thought.

Lisa smiled and sat down in front of him, as the chauffeur drove off to the Airport.
“Did you talk to David?”
“No. Kathy told me, you?”

“Two days in Michigan. Only for photos?”
